You asked for some solo Legendary play-through tips in the weekly update? Here's some that my friend, Cyrax002, and I have come up with. First off, we beat the game co-op Legendary system-link the first night it came out (With our Legendary Editions FTW =-D), then about 4 days later I got A Monument To All Your Sins, the same day Cyrax did. On Co-Op, we found it was very useful for one person to be a suicidal maniac and run in Assault Rifle blazing, while the second person sat back and picked off long range targets with the DMR spawning the maniac when he died (Quite often). On Solo you obviously can't do this, what I found worked was sitting back with a DMR (Or another long range weapon; Sniper, Needle Rifle, Magnum) and slowly picking away all the big targets that present themselves, then move to smaller and smaller enemies. Patience is a virtue. It is also a good idea to make mental notes of when you pass different ammo racks, that way you can always run back and get more (Particular moment that pops into my mind is the rack of DMR's on the ship that is in the multiplayer map "Boneyard" during "The Pillar of Autumn" mission, head up the stairs on the left, then act like you're gonna run straight to the catwalk to get into the facility proper, should be a rack full of DMR's, I think I used the whole thing). Another good idea is to (When the mission permits) let Noble Team do most of the work for you, cause, ya know, they can't die =-D. One last tip I have is to take note of 'Easter Eggs', like on the last mission, where you have to hold the landing pad for Cpt. Keyes, if you run behind the building and smack the wall an ammo rack FULL of DMR's falls out. I didn't know this when I did my playthrough and it made killing the Zealots when you go to get on the MAC gun very... lets just say I died and cursed alot due to the lack of ammo laying around. Cyrax's tips for a solo Legendary play-through are similar to mine, he took it slow and tried not to rush enemies. Also, conserve ammo, don't shoot at what you cannot hit. And don't waste Sniper ammo on Grunts.
Give me a holler if you want more specific tips for specific parts of the campaign, I'd be more than willing to replay through a mission(s) to find the best ways to get past them. Always been more into single player, see you on Firefight.
