Firstly, today two people joined my group. I accepted them both and was taken to a "Group Member Queue: Unable to accept user for membership due to an unknown error. The user shall remain in the member queue." screen with one. When I refreshed the page, that one was both in the queue and in the member list, whenever I accepted him it took me to the error page, yet he could post in the forums and so on.

Second, I counted up my group member number manually (yes, sad, but the list is small!), and the total did not match the total displayed on the homepage.

It is the soldier, not the reporter, who has given us freedom of the press. It is the soldier, not the poet, who has given us freedom of speech. It is the soldier, not the campus organizer, who has given us the freedom to demonstrate. It is the soldier, not the lawyer, who has given us the right to a fair trial. And it is the soldier who salutes the flag, who serves the flag, whose coffin is draped in the flag that allows the protester to burn the flag.Father Dennis Edward O'Brien, USMC

ahhhhhh

1. That has happend to me

2. I will count how many members are on a single page and multiply that by pages of members. Minus the last page. I will count that manully.

EDIT- member count was close, but no exact. about 10 members off

The member count can be off, especially if members are deleted for inactivity. Updating that count is considered "non-critical" so if it doesn't update correctly on a membership change, the system doesn't worry about it. The clean up function that runs every few days corrects the problem.

As for the queue problem - what happened there appears to be that you successfully added the member, but it failed when it tried to remove him from the queue. Normally, it would rollback the member add, but something must have failed there. You can do one of two things - remove the member from you group, then hit accept in the queue, or reject him in the queue and he'll stay in the member list.
