I am about to get a HP laptop. I don't want one of those wimpy laptops. I want a portable desktop.

Dell Inspiron 8600 laptop at the moment, but I tend to switch back and forth a lot between my laptop and my desktop PC.

It is the soldier, not the reporter, who has given us freedom of the press. It is the soldier, not the poet, who has given us freedom of speech. It is the soldier, not the campus organizer, who has given us the freedom to demonstrate. It is the soldier, not the lawyer, who has given us the right to a fair trial. And it is the soldier who salutes the flag, who serves the flag, whose coffin is draped in the flag that allows the protester to burn the flag.Father Dennis Edward O'Brien, USMC

Everything will be gone long before me. When the first living thing was born, I was here, waiting. When the last living thing dies, my job is finished. I'll put the chairs on the tables, turn out the lights and lock the universe behind me when I leave.

Dell Inspiron 8600. I don't like my desktop very well, so about 99% of the time I use my laptop. And a question. Is it labtop or laptop?

It's, "laptop." I also tend to use my laptop much more than my desktop as well for almost the exact same reason.
