Very, very nice thread that I hope stays updated. Kudos to OP.

Thank you.

You'll be glad to know that I'm writing a new version, with more evidence and a more in-depth analysis, and yes, I'll be continually updating it.

Just think of it like this, immagine WoW crossed with halo.
Do it.
Right now.
Now what's going through your mind?

Yep, that was what I thought. A Space/Fantasy MMO for consoles that ties together via Bungie Aerospace.

It sounds like a Bungie project.

Sounds like Bungie is making a MMO. I would have preferred something else, but MMO's are ok. We'll just have to wait and see...

I'm a stubborn guy. I love to argue my opinion, but unlike others, I'll try to see your side of the problem. I'm a triathlete, with a very heavy empephis on the swimming bit. Also, don't hate on the ~Quinton~ at the end of my posts. Why are you still reading this? #creeper #hashtagcashmoney for hashtaging on Bungie.net

You are thinking Bungie Aerospace is going to be the bridge of PS3 and Xbox360 playing online together? I think that will be extremely cool. I just hope that it will be in the first person perspective because quiet honestly I can not stand when we are in third person.

If this game is going to be like Halo and WoW made a baby and be in FP, and have space combat(of a sort) and be multi platform matches. This game will be extreme sauce.

OP, your analysis and interpretation seems well thought out and pretty solid, but I'm just not sure there's enough information to conclude with the least bit of certainty that Bungie is making an "MMO" or whatever. However, I suggest that you now analyze the "patterns" of Bungie's announcement tendencies and figure out when we should be hearing official information about their next project. In other words, go back to every single Bungie game since Halo: CE, and get the dates of their initial announcement, trailers, etc., in relation to the release date of the last game. If the next project's announcement consistently proceeds the previous project's release by a largely invariable amount of time, then we should be able to predict about when we will receive that long awaited word.

we shall see...E3 is not that far away and I would think Bungie is working hard at it right now to make sure they have something solid for E3 next year....

thus could be the reason for not much action by bungie devs in the forums as of late....just sayin

Now what's going through your mind?
"Get that overshield and aggro that gravemind!"
"I need a healthpack. Healer!"
Halo: Wrath of the Flood King?

But Halo won't be the fictional universe for this new *rumored* MMO. It would be amazing if Bungie did open the floodgate that is the console MMO, but one problem is the sheer amount of time players have to invest in MMOs to even do some of the more amazing things within that game (unless that is what Bungie will revolutionize?).

this is great research, we can almost confirm an mmo, i had a hunch they'd been working on this since around odst and final release of halo 3 maps, i forget what it was specifically, something in the BWU very subtly hinted at a new game

i can only imagine the gravity of bungies universe creating powers applied to an MMO

just think bout it ur a marine who can choose wat you do create a navy with FPS while its MMO!!! *example* you are on a hill with a sniper rifle with a squad of marines moving forward to take out the target and you can communicate with them tell them wat you see and so on and be able to call in a mac round if the -blam- hits the fan. that would be freakn sweet oh and heres a link to the canceled MMO on halo pedia http://www.halopedian.com/Untitled_Halo_MMO

Great idea. Definitely going to cover this in Version 2.
