I bought the Special Edition & went to the Midnight release, and still to this very day, I love the Campaign more than the other games, hands down, awesome story. I could only play Multiplayer at Halo Parties, I didn't have a Live account or Internet at the time.

The midnight release was great, wasn't it? Then we went home and played for 2 days, only stopping for food and to take a dump now and again. Yeah, I love Campaign and I'm still finding new things here and there and when I hear anything resembling the music of H2 I get an urge and a longing for the 'good ol days'.

am Rampant? no
Each microcosmic planet, a complete society...

Pretty much. I wish Bungie would go back to hiding skulls. That MADE the game.

Right on for 2, but, I like the way the thing has gone. We're here at the future, and as much as I hate the multiplayerization of the game, I enjoy the results all the same. It just takes some thinking and tactics to get around it. "This is HALO !" (Sparta) You knowmean.

I do too, but skulls really added a new dimension to the game. No other game has really done that for me so far. I managed to scrounge up just about all of them and enjoyed every second of it.

Yeah, but I think Bungie had a menu of the skulls planned at one time. Lucky for us they ran out of time and just let us search. I don't think Bungie fully understands the 'people searching for things' concept.

We could still be in the future; they could have a skull menu and still place skulls in really tough spots. That would give Reach more longevity.

I didn't play H3 that much but I did go find all of the skulls.

I feel you, and I've collected all skulls so far. But, it's always about playability. And in such, Reach has provided all skulls. This has enhanced my campaign to a degree I can't even convey. But don't get me wrong, I am a supreme fan of "Envy" and have gone that route more times than you can imagine.

The modders had the skull locations within several days of release. They could not keep the information to themselves and they blabbed incessantly. Heh, they claimed they were doing us a favor because we didn't have to spend the time to look. They didn't realize that it's the journey that counts, not the ending.

My Youtube - Halo 2 Online Co-op
BUNGIE AND MICROSOFT FAILS HALO 2 VISTA.

Everytime someone buys a copy of Halo 2 Vista, a puppy dies.

Thank goodness the modding community is dead/dying.
