Who is this playing avg 6 hours a day? I wish I knew, I would querry spree his tag. I play alot- avg around 2.5 hours a day but it has died off some due to relationship problems I was having with my girl due to this game. I know, it's sad.

That was very very very sad. Think about that 3.2 billion dollars that we could have been putting back into the economy, instead of spending 50+ dollars per person for the last year.

The deficit is all Bungie's fault! *cries*

LOL. Just kidding obviously. It is really impressive how popular Halo 2 is. And to think of all the people who think it "sucks."

2,189,713,986 experiences can't be wrong.

Frankie I'm dissapointed, me and my brother could spend hours in a lobby JUST talking about Weezer!

But jesus man that is a lot of numbers!
I think the next stat you have to find is "number of bullets fired by every player in every game since Halo went Live!" Now that would impress me! :)

Lockout is the only Mulitplayer Map with a "Guide" on Bungie.net,

MP Map Guides

I think of Lockout as two loops intertwined. I think its popularity may be due to its uniqueness & versatileness. Popular with no-scoping, regular sniping and other team slayer games. But its great with objective games too. There are at least two ways to get to anywhere; getting to one end of the map is a breeze and sometimes you can find yourself saved by a decent to a lower ramp. There is little cover besides the walls and ledges, however, those who know the map well know how to conceal themselves and get the jump on their opponents.

Let's all celebrate Lockout by playing it tonight!

Skin Cancer is the #1 killer of Halo players worldwide.

people play too much halo, I think it's ironic that I've really cut back lately but still own 99% of the people out there with relative ease

Wow those numbers are frightning. So many people playing. All together we've wasted more than 20,000 years. Imagine that. All the time we all played Halo 2, we coulda invented a freakin' Time Machine. But instead we played Halo 2. Bungie should feel really special, the fact that we gave up the Time Machine, just so we could kick some butt online.

Hail to the chief, he's the chief and he needs hailing. He is the chief, so everybody hail like crazy

If you actually take into account how long some maps or playlists have been out (Team Snipers) and compare them to the percents it's pretty impressive. Snipers has been out only since umm august 25(?) and it's unranked which drives some away but it still has 14% of games played.

i think they probably took recent statistics into account when determining what the percentages are... snipers would've had to be like 80% of the games since it came out to be that high overall if they didn't

i love lockout
i love to play swords and shotguns there
i consider myself 60% good with the sword and 40% good with the shotgun
team slayer is liked by me and a bunch of my friends
we dont have x-box live so we have large system link parties regularly
i might get x-box live if i get a 3.0 or higher on my school report card
so hope to fight some of you in the future

Lockouts ace because on CTF you can rush the flag and get it back in under 40 seconds (and I think this might be a generous estimate) without firing a shot! As long as a) you are clever and b) it is the first round!

In the story it says that numbers cant tell stories, but i know people that know a computer encoding alphabet that uses the digits 1 and 0 repeatedly. so you are wrong about that

"What I see is insanity,
What ever happened to humanity?"

I have to say the stat that shocked me most was the amount of years. That is a lot of time... and there is no other way it should have been spent!
