Now here is the question.. and I looked through all of these posts to see if someone had already asked it.. I didn't want to be repeating myself... if team snipers has such a high play rate... are they really going to replace it?! I barely play anything but team snipers anymore. Its fun for me.. and I am assuming many other people feel the same way. I'm curious about this.. does anyone know?

This person, the one who has played 1600+ games, how pitifull, i myself have been playing on the account Crazy Nova for over half a year, and have fought nearly 3000 games, if I had this acount since Novemeber the 11th, then I would have reached 7000 games. This person.... or Organism is in need of a life.....

Yes, i agree with that post allot of my freinds and myslef love playing hours of team snipers, i think you should put up a poll wether or not to replace team snipers, just to see what the turn out might be.

Im in complete agreement why would they replace it? its so popular, i think they should take a poll just ot see what the outcome is.

Ok 2 mistakes in your story Frankie!

1. Coagulation ranked at the second (8%) most popular map NOT Ascension (7%)

2. At the top you said "numbers cant tell a joke or make a poem......but they can tell stories" then at the bottom you said "As i said at the start, numbers dont tell stories" which is it? If they really do tell stories you could make a hefty profit amongst the 10 and under age group when it comes to bed time stories. Hell you could tuck the little belters in bed and simply pass them a calculator and a one way ticket to snoozville !

All this confusion is creating a fracture causing sticky sweet conceptualism to spew forth from my oily brow.

Mad stats by the way!

My first fear is that they'll start forcing us Team skirmish and team training people to play more slayer. I really hate slayer.

Secondly, the fact that team training is more popular than team skirmish says a lot about the ranking system I think. Personally I play a lot more team training then team skirmish because... it's more fun. I can join a game and not have to worry about getting a useless team that's going to lose me rankings. Sure you can say "go play team skirmish, have more fun against people of similar skill and don't worry if you lose rankings" and that's true, but even buckling down and thinking to myself "i just went down again, it's ok, this system is there to help me" it's still a bit of a mental slap. I really really wish they would just hide our ranks. We don't need to see it. Make a matchmaking type that hardcores can play in and care lots about their ranks and leave the rest hidden so it really is just playin a game for the sake of it. Same reason bigteam battle is less popular, less control over the battle and there fore more helpless you are vs. a useless team.

Lastly, I wish you guys could track quiters and group them together, same with betrayers. If someone is joining games and quiting constantly, make efforts to group him with other quiters and the same if he is repeatedly betraying other people, similar to how you can boot someone who has doing a lot of betraying, but it eventually wears down again.

The fact that Juggernaut finishes higher than CTF is less surprising for those folks who've enjoyed Juggernaut's blend of stealth and frantic action.

May be a juggernaut playlist will become handy.
A lot of people playing halo. wow

Although I play head-to-head everyday, I am not suprised to hear that only 2% of matchmaking games are head-to-head.

One thing that I would like to add is that most people play slayer but I dont anymore for certain reasons.
1. There are still modders (I realize that bungie is working hard to ban them)
2. People still standby (As much as you want to deny it, there are still standby-ers)
3.The above two (Oh yeah, boosters)

Also, Big Team Battle is a waste of time

Awesome statstics. I also noticed that Coagulation had 8% and Ascension had 7%. But other than that great!

I noticed the exactly same things, but I also noticed that in the Circle Graph or Pie chart, which ever you prefer, there were different percentages. Like it said in the box that Ascension was 7% and Coag was 8% but in the circle graph it said Ascension 10% and COag 11% . I don't usually pick out the bad things but I just also noticed these things. Anyway, I loved this story. I hope you do it every year. And maybe mention the perecent decrease in games per day in Halo 2 when Halo 3 comes out. I bet it would be pretty steep.

I think it would be a good idea to every 3 months check see whos been online in halo 2 and played the most game to be contacted and sent an areoplane ticket STRAIGHT to bungie studio :D

Give that poor sole something good in their life.

Those are some crazy statistics, I took the hours played a little further (which isn't very hard math, not trying to be smart) and found that that would be 420 lifetimes (lifetime of 50 years) worth of halo 2 playing. I wish you guys would have crunched some of the medal numbers, I run my own stats site http://www.topgunstats.com , I just made it public, so I don't have a lot of stats up yet, but I do have some different leaderboards and medal info. It's free to join and I hope to keep it that way.

Another great update, with some baffeling statistics.
I've always been good with numbers, but those make my eyes twitch

If i had the option of being paid $10 an hour instead of every hour i play HALO2...i would still rather play HALO2.

That's how much your work means to me guys.....i'm sorry....i'm getting a bit emotional now, i have to go....my Xbox needs me..!
