All the cool kids are doing it

When Halo 2's went down on April 14th, it got me to thinking, when will Halo 3 suffer the same fate? I've had a ton of good memories with friends online in that game and would hate for it suddenly to end. When do you guys think it will go offline?

you mess with the best, you die like the rest.

it wont go offline. halo 2 died because it was a xbox game not a xbox 360 game. halo 3 will not go offline yill the xbo 720 comes out.

"I'll tell you right now, if you ever see someone called ll wa1do ll... leave the game immediately. My friend knows him, I've been in his party a few times, do not mess with this guy. From what I've heard, he's the real deal. I also heard someone made a guy named Wa2do (similar to his name) and then he hacked that guy and boosted off his level." -From Minou on Bungie.net

Hopefully soon so we can forget about this mistake Bungie made.

This is the average H2 Fanboy.
Xfire: JacobGRocks.
50 in H2/H3? Great, but you still fail at this.

Whenever MS decides to dumb XLive support for the 360. And that might not happen for a while, as GFWL and Zune also rely on 360 live, and WP7 will when that comes out.

In Soviet Russia, vehicles can last longer that 30 seconds.

In Soviet Russia, cookie win you.

The game wont go offline until all of Xbox (360) live is shut down, like what happened to Halo 2, on April 14 all classic Xbox games went offline when Microsoft decided to no longer support online gaming via Xbox. Halo 3 will be supported by matchmaking as long as MW2, Reach and any other Xbox 360 title.

When did I ever say I liked Reach? And when is it that GI magazine is God and whatever it says is a fact?

halo 2 still the best game in the series. long live halo 2.

Dam, I miss the old days playing halo 2 with my old brothers in arms. Thank you my old friends for giving me this account, I shall continue our legacy.

When the 360 becomes as outdated as the regular xbox was when its live support got shut down.

"We are All Brothers in the Eyes of Bungie."

That really depends... specially on us (public/gamers), sooner or later halo 3 servers will stop.. all in life must end.. but only us gamer can really have a "control" over when that will be. As long as we continue to play halo 3 and the number are above 75,000 all ok... do hiting 60 or 50,000 i would say those are red numbers... really low.. but for now.. Guys enjoy we all love HALO 3 or most of us.. son enjoy play good, die hard have fun and pray it isint soon..

"If something is easy, broken, cheap or can be abused, majority of the population will support it as a legit and or skilled concept/idea. Whatever people like and or love, they will thrive on it because no matter how broken it maybe, they do not like change."

I got back on Halo 3 today, omg so nostalgic. I'm probably guessing 5 years from now.
