Need air support?

Hey, I recently got Halo PC, so I've got a few questions.

1)Many of my other PC games encourage modding to keep the game fresh, be it new skins or new models of something. Is Bungie okay with modding?

2)If 1 is true, what are the most popular mods for CE, and is there any special installer for them?(ex: anybody here of Modman before?)

3)Where are those sweet, SWEET music files stored?

Thanks!

Edit: Oops, forgot one more-

4)Did Bungie provide any kind of SDK for the game? I love using the ones on Steam.

"mods" dont exist
but there are tonnes of custom maps and a SDK (although you need a modeling program as well)
its a little more complicated than source SDK and the engine is a -blam!- to work with

go to halomaps.org and install halo custom edition, then search the halo ce section for custom maps, there are alot of good ones (search for something like coldsnap to get an idea of how customizable it is)

Thanks for the tip! BTW, what do you mean modifications don't exist? A few years ago, I saw a youtube vid of a guy actually flying *spoilers* the little ship you escape with in the last level. In my flight simulator community, there are very skilled modders that do amazing things like make better, more advanced models for the planes, there was one mod that made the graphics of the game better, generally changing things to make them better- and then they gave them out for free. So there's none of that?

Sapphire just got even more awesome.

My clan has a fair bit of modded Halo PC maps. We also have 10 servers, some of which are on Custom Edition, the rest on PC. =)

im surprised people in the pc forums dont know what mods are, just read my whole post before commenting

EDIT: to put it bluntly
Custom tags such as playermodels, weapons and vehices are not "Mods" per se

My Youtube - Halo 2 Online Co-op
BUNGIE AND MICROSOFT FAILS HALO 2 VISTA.

Everytime someone buys a copy of Halo 2 Vista, a puppy dies.

I would refer to mods as being edits to original content.
Custom content is what someone has taken the time to make, instead of ripping.

but sometimes custom and mod may cross over, where someone has ripped the bsp of Halo and made a MP map out of it.

I wish they provided some sort of SDK, or source code.
