I have a 65" high def., wide screen that supports up to 1080i.It also has a built in hdtv tuner. It can also support 480p and 480i. I have a Marantz 7.1 THX certified surround sound system. Also, my 2 front left and right speakers have their own subwoofer. This baby can put out 1000 Watts of power. Boooyah!!!!!!!!. I have also invested in componet monster cables (the best ones out there). And with these you dont go through a high def pack, straight to your reciever. And before halo 2 comes out, i'm going to have the guns ajusted and cleaned to make my halo 2 experience even better. Top that

Um............. I dont know. But you might want to check radio shack (depending on where you live), or something simular to radio shack. But with $100 you will most likely get some cheap after market recevier. In most cases, speakers alone cost $100, but you never know what you can find.

Holy -blam!-, now that's what I call prepared for Halo 2.
At my Mom's, I have a (I think) 24' TV with 5.1 surround sound; and at my Dad's, I have a 25' TV in my room but I'll hopefully get to use the 45' or so TV with surround sound for the first day or so.

No, their Lucasfilm THX select Mordaunt-Short speakers. They're not the cheap-o ones you must be thinking of.

If it has THX on it, it must be good. But I thought that a subwoofer would mess with the sound of the speaker a little.

9.1 DTS, DAMN!!!!!!! With a 72" Plasma. You must work 3 different jobs to afford that. I would have gotten that if they had it a year ago.
