Yes, listening to music is a hobby of mine. I just wouldn't know which one is the hardest to play.

I play guitar and keyboard. I'd have to say between those 2 keyboard is a little harder. It's easy to get confused or lose the beat when playing 4-5 lines of music at once. I've never played drums though. Bass, is about the same as guitar. If you can play one you can play the other pretty well.

I play the drums, and it takes a lot of practice and coordination, if you wanna be good. I play a little Guitar, and from what I know, the drums is harder.

Hmm I'd say the wash basin base lol. Actually the fidel slash violen is pretty difficult, but the hardest to Master in my opinion would be the banjo you have to have speed and perfect timing.

I agree a beat is harder to play than a tune. The thing with a tune is that you have a little room for error and typically can time yourself by the person playing the beat. The reason the Banjo is so hard to Master is that it's tune comes from a beat. Here's a way you can ease yourself into playing a beat. Don't count at all just hit your drum get the feel for the sound then hit it again don't stop hitting the drum till you can feel the sound. Now pay attention to how the drum get's quieter by hitting the drum and letting it go quiet. Try this a few times. Following that try to feel the vibrations going threw your body. When you can feel the sound vibrating threw your body you can use it as a timing mechanism. Instead of counting out beats by mississippi's, steam boat's or whatsoever you count by you'll just get a knack to know when to hit the drum. You know what I'm trying to say when the sound decrease below a certain volume you'll know when to hit your snare etc,,,

I've played all of those instruments, while only touching lightly on bass, which is very similar to guitar.

Keyboard is hardest.

I think this is all a matter of opinion. To be truthful, I think the Drums and Piano are the hardest. (I've tried them all, but I suck at each, so... I don't know...) lol

Do people actaully do that? What's really hard, is to play really complex beats and doing fills and solos while keeping the complex beat on your snare and double bass. People will find that if they play every beat with each hand/foot equally (like keeping time with your left instead or your right), that Harder beats become simple. Of course, most people can't do that.

Keyboard definant gets harder the more advanced you get. Songs can easily have over 4-5 lines of music all doing something different.

Different people have different god-given abilities. I myself have played both keyboard and drums for about a year now and have had great luck in my speed of learning, however, as not the case with many people, I've had the hardest time coordinating myself on a guitar. It's different for different people.

Bassoon, trust me! Complicated fingerings, manually tuning, halfholes, flicking and you also have to make your own reeds, and to top it all off, it is actually the most expensive instrument in the world with some reaching up to $80 000 Canadian(about $73 000 american).

Ok I've been playing drums for about 5 years, it's very hard and you have to WORK at it. It's not just beating things with sticks. And I'm not just some stupid person who only plays rock cause it's cool. I also play snare (not so well) and swing, jazz, funk, blues, brushes, latin, u name it.
