Quite a few employees of Gamestop do not play games at all. When you told them that you wanted to buy Halo 2 for the Xbox 360, I am sure that they looked for the game under the Xbox 360 section. Halo 2 is an Xbox original so you should have asked them for Halo 2 for the original Xbox. Most of the Gamestop stores no longer have Halo 2 in stock any more because sales have gone down for that game for a variety of reasons (biggest reason is Xbox Live is no longer supported for it). If you really want Halo 2 then I suggest that you purchase it for the PC platform because some Gamestop stores still sell if for the PC.
One last thing, Gamestop sells Microsoft Points through the receipt now. You have to tell them that you want to buy 1600 points or 4000 points and they will sell it to you with the code on the receipt. Most Gamestop stores quite selling the cards.
