Subject: Drawer+Writer=Award winning book

I was wondering. Why haven't any illustrators and writers teamed up to
create a master piece. Think about it.
Haven't you illustrators ever ran out of things to draw?
And you Story writers, Haven't you ever had trouble getting people to look at your story.
Well why not team up.
Eye popping pictures would easily bring in readers
and drawing for a writer can make it hard to run low on Ideas.

To me this team up would bring more color and story to the forums.

Some cool pictures could easily come from
True Sangheili:Part Ten - Insertion: When Sorran is leaving his love.
The Conflict of Harvest:Chapter 4:When Malarek saw the second scarab

The Spartan Four Project: Book Two:Any part is fine for I haven't ever read it yet (the first book is taking me to long)

Those are just some Ideas and of course you would need there permission and the hints on what the characters sould look like.

but those are just Ideas

I'd be happy to draw stuff related to a story, but I lack the skill and Hardware to do so properly...

what you are looking for is a Concept Artist or Illustrator like above...

A true writer doesn't need an image to convey a scene to the reader. Words can be far more effective if utilised correctly. Having a book cover is good because it hooks the potential reader in but all the imagery in the book should be done with words, not pictures.

That's just my opinion anyway. Revolutions will be very cool though.

If the reader has a similar mindset, and a good imagination, they can picture the scene in their head. I do this all the time, which can get in the way of feedback as I get so caught up the story.

Yes, pictures are good, but they are not always necessary.

Some of the best books I've read don't have any pictures.

But I like picture books cause I'm dumb.

a cover for a book

you could need a artist there.

what would be awesome is to pick some of all the fan fics, put em in a book and then have Fan Art and stuff illustrate them, then add the best of the art posted here as a bonus. all made by the community.

name could be "Tales of Halo" or something.

I didn't realize i did :P

I didn't think i was the only one having that idea anyway so it don't surprise me...

only thing missing is making it a real book, that is just the Start.

It will be a real book, that's just a preview. Well, a PDF book anyway. We cannot publish it properly because no publisher would EVER go for it and it would be breaking copyright anyway.

POMC S117 Owns owns

Assualt Command done that for Wolver's fan-fic. It was amazing. And you mentioned my book. Are you serious, it isn't that good enough to permit a front cover as good as the one Assualt Command made.

its more worthy then you think

it truly is the beautiful art you have tried to make it
