to err is human,
to really bollocks things up
requires a rocket launcher...
All you bizarchbexs, quit your whinning... It's called Hardcore for a reason! Though to be honest, I didn't really find it that much harder (maybe because I play an insane amount of Big Team Battle which also stresses teamwork). It's really about a thing called TEAMWORK, typically the team that communicates; wins. The funny thing is, that I REALLY REALLY suck with the BR- and if you looks at my stats- I'm still hanging in there. I finally got to play last night, and won the first 7 or 8 games. But not because I'm "Billy Badass!"- it was directly due to communication with my teammates. We even won 2 games, with a man lagged out. Losing a man really bites, even if the other team sucks.
Think! SEALS are taught that the most powerful weapon they have is their mind! Hardcore requires strategy! Example: I'm horrible with either snipers, so I typically guard the best sniper on the team and keep my -blam- head down. If you can't kill, at least try to keep from getting killed. Also, adapt to the weapons at hand. I'm ruthless with rockets, almost always perfect timing- but rarely do I get them. So adapt to the situtation at hand- THINK!
I know it's hard, because my worst sin is to keep charging out to get the "best" weapon. I get killed more times than not doing that. So now I try to sneak to that weapon, while killing or supporting along the way.
Hope this helps! Thanks Bungie for trying to keep us happy, and keeping the quality of play at a high level.
