So far, here are the opinions-
Me- yes
Anton P Nym- no
Recon Number 54- maybe
Texas Ben- N/A
Killer_Commander- no
Stalin the 31st- no
durandal8371010- yes
Jager- no
dlm- yes
SevenSEVENseveN- no
ForceMorph- only if they kept terminals (counting that as a maybe)
Frogwart- N/A
WildMonkeys- once they are done with the Halo series (another maybe)

Coming to a grand total of...
Yes- 3
No- 5 (ouch...)
Maybe- 3
N/A- 2

While no is the current answer, the undecided could still sway the vote! Does this remind anyone else of Florida?

I realize I was incorrect in not adding my answer to the thread topic when I added my reply about the Apes earlier. I still hope someone got a chuckle, though.

I don't think I'm exactly qualified to say whether Bungie should remake Marathon, or any of their older games, as I have yet to play them. I just got the Mac Action Sack and haven't yet made available some quality time to experience the games.
That aside, though, I don't think Bungie should revisit its older titles. While it might be relatively easy to put a fresh coat of paint and polish on a game like Marathon, that doesn't mean it should be done.
The creative minds at Bungie can do better than a rehashing of an old game, and the "old" game is still out there, free if you know which forum thread to look in (it's still a sticky as of this writing), or for a measly $10 as long as the Bungie Store has them (and that's the better deal in my opinion: You're getting six games for less than the price of one, and you're giving Bungie ten more bucks for the pizza party following World
Domination).
I'd rather see Bungie concentrate on making a game that will make everyone (who has their minds blown playing Halo 2) shiver and cry with joy at their next amazing storytelling acheivement.
So my vote is a firm "no."

We’ve watched while the stars burned
Out, and creation played in reverse.
The Universe freezing in half-light.
Once I thought to escape.
To end a master, step out of the
Path of collapse. Escape would make us God.
Yet I cannot help but remember one enigma,
A hybrid, elusive destroyer.
This is the one mystery I have not solved.
The only element unaccounted for.

1) I thought it was funny, and 2) I have already downloaded it, I just can't get the music to work, and am not good at all with the controls (yes, I treid customizing them). I still just think it would be cool if this were released for the X-Box with somewhat improved graphics. Apparently not everyone enjoys revisiting the past as much as I do.

WildMonkeys... I'm sorry but your idiocy is far too great to go unmentioned... there will NOT be that many Halos... unless Bungie decides to sellout to the extreme... There are things called limits in the real world! obviously you are unfamiliar with this place... there is more to world than Halo, and in fact, there are far BETTER things... so grow up already, and if you have, then obviously you need to rethink some things...

I apologise for the major snappage, but people should realise thier limits as far as gaming goes... and given the title of the thread, it has nothing to do with Halo! I am sorry for any trouble I have caused and am willing to accept any punishment as laid down by moderators, but I am unwilling to sit in silence!!!!

This may be off topic in my own thread, but here goes;
They won't need to make any more Halo games unless they don't finish the plot in Halo 2. If they want to release new MP maps they could do that over X-Box Live, although that seems unlikely. It would be cool if they did though.

And I think he was kidding.
