Subject: Bungie.com... Achronos? Help?

http://www.bungie.net/fanclub/atticus/Group/GroupHome.aspx

¶ Ok, I understand why it is there. The corporate side of bungie.

I was wondering however, if it was possible to add the login feature under bungie.com as well.

I know it sounds stupid and selfish, but Im curious so play along, My school has it blocked under .net, but not under .com. So I visit everyday at the .com, but cannot login or visit my group forums... or reply.

If only the login section was added to .com i could get around everything else pretty easy.

I dont know if it will happen, but it would be great.

And I get the fact that .net is the community side while .com is the corporate so a login feature wouldnt fit in on .com, but it would be helpful.

a lot of places block .net but not .com, more freedom! Let logins be possible on .com!

Thanks for your time. ¶

What? This isn't Bungie.com? Strange, considering I type in Bungie.com in my Address bar everytime I wish to come here.

No, this is really Bungie.net. Bungie.com sort of merged with it awhile back though.

And the .com has a login feature too.

They are very close, i think if you type bungie.com once you sign in your on bungie.net...

Bungie.net is the real site. Bungie.com is just the corporate side, as ive heard.

But you can do everything on both pretty much.

Nakki has corrected me on IRC. You can't log in from bungie.com, it bumps you over to bungie.net. I feel so dumd.

School is supposed to be a place of learning, not a place to access a computer and goof around on the forums...

But whatever, I guess it would be nice for people who have computers at school that can run Bungie.net in a non-downgraded display.

Some people have study periods at school, and at our school you can go to the library and go on the computers if you are a junior or senior.

Yes, study periods, not browse-Bungie.net-forums period. I don't mind that much but I really think people could be doing something better with their time.

Yes, so do I. Bungie.com.

The problem is they have sites like proxify.com blocked as well, the sites used to surpase blockage.

Now, I used to have a study period class, but I moved. In this class we have 1.5 hour long classes. Its my web design class that I surf bungie on. And I dont use downgraded display either...

I usually am first one done with every assignment, often my teacher asks me to help others, but a lot she lets me surf the web. In fact, I dont even ask anymore. i just do it, whenever I want. other people get scolded for doing it, but I have yet to miss an assignment or not complete something. So I basically do as I please there.

I want bungie to work SO bad, but it wont.

Achronos? Anything you can add? Is it even possible?

type in .com or .net it both works. B.net is blocked in school but i easily pass that smart filter by simpply putting a s in http(s) which for some reason enables the site.

he's right, once you sign in at bungie.com you jump to B.net, also, yuor school blocked B.net!?!? mine doesn't even have RvB.roosterteeth blocked, i used to watch RvB and search bungie during science class(and reading, that was all i ever did in that stupid class)

  • 10.22.2005 9:40 AM PDT

My school has everything blocked. I'll try the .com thing though because it would be awesome for my 15th period Sports study hall in which I get to do what I want(play cards, listen to music, etc). And I'll be able to see it in a non-downgraded format because we have new Dell computers at our school with 1gig of ram and 3.2ghz Pentium 4's.

.com only redirects to .net AFTER you sign in. But I can visit the entire site without sining in on .com. I do it at school. I just surf the forums on .com but cant ever reply or check my groups... :(

Thats a new one, cockmouth... The simplicity of combining two words together to get a word that can be used for insulting others is too easy.
