Subject: Bungie.com...

Tom Achronos
Bungie.net Overlord

"I have no words that would do justice to the atrocities you commit to the English language, as well as your continued assaults on the concepts of basic literacy and logical reasoning."

There used to be a seperate web site called "www.bungie.com". But that site no longer exists, and simply redirects to www.bungie.net. Due to the way Passport works, and for consistent branding, the only site that will work properly with authentication is bungie.net.

Well, I'm fresh out of high school for one year, and there's plenty of ways around those dam site blockers.
Best way? Proxy. A proxy goes through another server, thus not blocking anything. When you're at home, type proxy on google. Get into the proxy server, then send yourself a link to that direct page (in e-mail or something). Since they usually block the proxy homepages, you need a direct link to the proxy. Then, it's smooth Bungie sailing from there!

The school I went to, past tence I just finished. Our admin was smart, like Achronos. :D

He found a way to block proxy servers from leting sites get though, oh and instead of blocking Bungie.net he blocked the entire Passport network, minus the MSDN arhcives. The only and I mean only thing we can access that he dosent want us to is the IRC network via a java applet because you can't block those. He never blocked Bungie.net, we just can't log in. lol

A side effect of blocking Hotmail Passport network, he blocked the whole lot.

That is untrue. You CAN block the IRC network. We have a block on that as well. Otherwise I wouldnt be worrying about this at all, if I had IRC.

The Proxy sites are all blocked and the computers dont connect to anything outside. Meanging none of the messengers work. They just cannot connect.

Its really lame.

I don't get why your school would block Bungie.net. Our school doesn't even have Safe Search turned on on Google.

Well for me http(s) works in school. Just add the "s" after the http and it might work. My friend also made this site that unblocks all the filtered site's, I will ask for that site tomorrow.
