All else aside...

So, like many people, Ive been playing reach a ton lately, namely campaign and through a set of events I now have my original xbox hooked back up. I decided to do a legendary run on halo 2 and I was surprised. Because it wasnt nearly as hard as I remembered it being. Maybe its just a fluke from playing last night but I cleared the first level (hanger bays and all) with only a few deaths. Has anyone else noticed coming back to halo 2 from 3/reach that it doesnt seem as hard?(obviously concerning campaign.)

Excessively good question. Don't really have a solid stance here, but, a couple of things have happened since we first Haloed. 1. The game has gotten more Multiplayery - Everything's about quick kills and fast solutions. (We've become more twitchy) 2. We've all Haloed a heck of a lot more. We know the patterns, what works and what doesn't. I think the game has evolved, unto its own parameters (which I don't enjoy the evolution one bit), so that it's reaching its ultimate state. Kill/Die... Succeed/Fail to execute. It's gotten out of hand, and going back to its roots, as one of the graduates of its school, it all seems pretty easy. Am glad Reach is the end. Better to go out on top, like Seinfeld.

Yeah basically, you've gotten better from playing more Halo.

I do not fear death, in view of the fact that I had been dead for billions and billions of years before I was born, and had not suffered the slightest inconvenience from it. ~ Mark Twain

You know you can play Halo 2 on the 360 right?

OT: If the last time you played it through was when it was released, then yeah, it's that ton of Halo you've played since then.
