Well, Reach sucks, so I'm back on Halo 3, but since coming back, I've noticed the connection for EVERY game is incredibly laggy. Is anyone else experiencing this?

Yeah im getting the same, at first i thought it was just a one off but i think it could just be that the chances of getting anyone from overseas is better then then it used to be

Yes. It's so annoying. Before there was very slight lag in one in every 30-50 games (or even less). I played Reach then switched back to Halo 3 after about a week and ever since then it lags so bad. There's always people teleporting (teleporting a few feet due to lag), plasma pistol overcharges and plasma grenades not tracing/sticking when they should, grav hammers in Grifball not killing even when I swing first and at close enough range, etc. It's really ruining Halo 3. Bungie needs to fix the host system and give host to whoever has the fastest connection. I thought they did but I've heard otherwise and it seems otherwise. And if someone else has a sucky connection, they should lag, but not the people with good connections.

Bungie always said, "If half the people love it, and half the people hate it, it's fine. We did a good job."

Well look Bungie, 3/4th's of us want Bloom gone. You messed up. Fix it.

Less people playing Halo 3, therefor more chance of pulling in players from other countries than America. And it's not "serious lag" unless it's red bar.

If it is red bar, then it's your connection at fault.

'your connection at fault', ummmm, yeah right.
So if host is awarded to a player 60 hops away that is the fault of your connection ?!?!?
You do know that host selection is not based on a per game ping test - or any per game connection quality test?!?

Given the amount of re-work bungie did for reach - you got to ask yourself why.

Haven't had incredible lag, but the host is usually bad.

Ive gone back to Halo 3, happy to be back, but yes it does seem laggy, havent like most of the servers been dedicated to reach though? Im sure that would account for most of the lag.
