Does anyone know why i can't see the chat in game? if i press 'T' to type a message, all that comes up is a dark box at the bottom, but it doesnt say "All" or "Team" like it should, theres no text at all...
Any help would be appreciated, thanks

Assuming you're playing normal Halo PC, go into your "C:\program files\microsoft games\halo" directory and doubleclick on the file called msxmlenu.msi and this will reinstall what you need to make text show up. Lemme know if this works for ya.

Uh... I never would have guessed that Microsoft's XML parser would have anything to do with framerates, but I suppose anything's possible. You're welcome, I guess. ^_^;

If it's Halo Custom Edition, the same file can be found in : "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Halo Custom Edition\redist"

But it doesn't matter. They're both the same file and doubleclicking either of them should fix your problem.

I didnt find that file in my HaloCE folder. I DID however find it on my Halo disk. Ran it, and my probs are solved. Thanx =)
