Ok for those of you that think you're all that lets see if you got what it takes. New challenge called Perfection (i dunno if this has been spoken of before).
The object of this challenge is to run through the entire game killing everyone......and not losing or using health. Try to choose a difficulty level that will give you a real challenge (i mean easy on the pillar of autumn come on people!). Oh ya and no hacks. Try to post a vid to confirm it.

Good Luck!

P.S: Here's a subchallenge for those of you who really want to get into it. At the end of Two Betrayals you have that large battle. What YOU have to do is annihilate everyone there WITHOUT losing any health on legendary.
Here are some rules that are also mentioned in a further post:
There are 2 health packs before that battle you either:
1. Cannot use them
2. Use them BEFORE the battle
3. If you're trying to beat the whole level without using health than refer to rule no. 1

Memo: This is not a contest, you do not win anything....this is for personal benefit only. You might attain to godhood if you got guts to do this:P This thread has also been posted in The Library but also trying to get a few PC/Mac users interested.

I would like to see someone do it, but since my computer barely runs Halo PC, it won't be me.

I have already done this on Normal, but I see no need to prove it to others.

Post a vid? I highly doubt that it will happen. I Took a vid of me beating the game in 2 hours, and it was 700 megs. I doubt anyone will want to host that.

ok, whatever. its that as modemman said why would u host a vid. 700 megs, and really if u dont have all that special software, that 700 megs can be raised to about maybe 20 gigs

Great idea rodog.
Marathon used to have a replay feature, and there were rules that
you had to follow in order to be a vidmaster.
http://marathon.bungie.org/vidmaster/vidrules.html
I'm definitely going to try your challenge, but you need seven rules.
(It's a Bungie thing)

Here's what I think the rules should be.
#1: No difficulty other than legendary.
#2: All enemies must die.
#3: Don't shoot when you can melee. (A weak rule, I know, but a
melee kill on an Elite that is alert to you is very stylish)
#4: No shortcuts.
#5: No Healthpacks, overshield, or camo. (No Healthpacks may be
harsh, but you're definitely a true vidmaster if you don't need them.)
#6: No deaths. (The hardest of all, but the true mark of a vidmaster)
#7: Just Vid It - With Style! (Do cool stuff like killing groups of
enemies with a hog launch or sticking p.nades and killing multiple
enemies. Be Creative! And do not be a "camper." I know that
sounds weird in single player, but watching someone hide is
boring)
No cheating is an unspoken rule

Optional rules:*
#1: No hits. (meaning your health, and credited to rodog's idea)
#2: Boxer Style! (No shots or grenades fired)
#3: NBN ('nuthin but 'nades)
*Legendary difficulty rule is not required, but is admired.

I would be very impressed if someone did all of these. Getting
three wouldn't be too hard. (all you have to do is play on legendary,
kill all enemies, and ignore shortcuts) So 4/7 would be great. The
only problem is the size of the video file. =(
Any other ideas?

Actually, it was just under 10 gigs before I compressed with divx. Fraps had to split the video into segments to keep any single file under 4 gigs. Plus, there was no audio, so adding that would probably add file size.
