on the level were your riding in the wort hog in the snow then you go down the large tunnel and you see the two hunters.well once you open that door and you go down to the bridge...is it possible to steel the scorpian and jump the warthog off it and clear the bridge?....even though i know it takes more time then just turning on the energy bridge but still ....can you?

Ditto.
And I thought you meant the huge Warthog jump where Cortana goes "At top speed we can make it."

That wouldnt even be worth posting. the gap in the maw when cortana says "at top speed we can make it" is really easy. everyone whos ever played halo CE or pc has made dat jump.

I have no idea where you're talking about...there is only one place with a scorpion tank in the FPS game that I know of, during "the assault on the control room", and only one place where you meet two hunters after a jump with it: the winding road downward before you reach the pillars before cortana tells the marines to wait while you snipe the "stationary guns"(which they never do...stupid jarheads). There is a room with two hunters, lots of grunts, and some elites. that's right after you destroy the covenant tanks and have rescued the last group of marines for the level: two bridges, one of them "severed". Is that the place? A friend and i did something like you suggest in Xbox coop play there, but with a ghost and a warthog. He made it to the pipes on the other side; I didn't...hit the pipes and slid off the side on the last try.

The only place I remember off hand with an energy bridge you turn on is "halo", the level before "Truth and Reconciliation". You have a warthog there, but I've seen no scorpion. Is there an energy bridge elsewhere in halo that you turn on? or is there an energy bridge in the room I describe.

this needs investigating...

Its been a while s i last played it so spare me a little...the area that im talking about is when you go though a clearing and then run to the far left wall and theres some men and a tiped over wart hog ....you then tip it back over and get in it your men should join you...you then have to face sevral of spartins and once you defete them you hear Cortona talk to you ....so instead of destroying the scorpian that was attacking you take it and drive down into a big cement looking tunnel and there are two hunters (inless they came up and you already killed them)..but you get out of the scorpain and open the door then you get back into the scorpian and go in to open area were there are sevral more spartans ..you kill them and park the scorpian at the end of the bridge just perfect to jump a wort hog off it ..you can do it with a gost and a wort hog but the qeustion im wondering is if you can ramp that wort hog off the scorpian and over the gap..... that you would normaly go up a skinny path and turn on a energy bridge ....but thats for any one with that much free time

Wait...your explanation made even less sense than your original post.

Please try to use proper spellings and names of characters as is commonly accepted as follows...

Marines are the humans. The guys with the Assualt Rifles and the helmets and the green square over their eye.

Elites are the guys who look like humans, except with four jaws and energy weapons.

Scorpions are the brown, dingy tanks you can drive. They shoot out shots that should look like a sniper shot with an extra serving of BANG.

Wraiths are the big, purple, shiny, Fischer-Price-Tank things that fire out big blobs of blue plasma at you.

Ghosts are the purple, shiny hovermobiles that fire out pairs of blue plasma.

Warthogs are the green cars. (BTW, just to be sure, cars are the things with four wheels)

Now please, rephrase your question. And make it coherent.

I know what he's talking about--You're in Assault on the Control Room, you've gotten the Scorpion, you go down into the tunnel, kill two Hunters, blow up a ghost and a couple elites, then come to a blast door. You open the door, and you're in a huge underground room, with a long bridge to the left spanning a massive chasm. There are two hunters and miscellaneous Covenant on the other side, three or four grunts in turrets in the corners, and jackals running across the bridge to try to take you out. (It's not an energy bridge; he was mistaken). What he's saying is that if you take out everyone in the room and run back and bring a warthog down there with your scorpion, can you set the scorpion up so that you can ramp off to the other side with a warthog? Just to clarify...

Ok. Then, to clearify, that jump is not possible to make with a hog. You can try with a ghost (they accelerate and have airborne control) but aim for the pipes that are to the sides of the broken bridge on the other side.

Then again, prove me wrong. Your assignment, if you choose to accept it, is to make a FRAPS vid jumping the large gap after you open the first set of blast doors. You have to use a Warthog to make the jump and a tank for your launch pad.

Landing on the pipes will win credit. Landing clear on the other side will get you cookies. No modding please.

First off thank you for clearing that up and yes now that you know what im talking about please answer and tell me if you can make the jump because i know its possible with a ghost (like i mentioned before).. ...but what about with a wart hog...and i dont have the equipment to film such a thing of me jumping that ...and i dont mod...moding is for people who arnt good enough to play the game how it was meant to be played.

Hm...With a ghost, sure, but with a hog, no. The hogs stay on the ground, while ghosts hover. Slightly different physical attributes for each. The ghost is more floaty-bouncy than is the hog. Besides, you can't do a wheelie with the hog.

Oh, and modding is actually a widely accepted practice in HPC (only for HPC, though). It's for people who want to screw around with the game's campaign, not cheat on it. For example: making a needler shoot plasma grenades. That's how Minus is suggesting you could achieve it. By giving the warthog the physics of a ghost. And for FRAPS, it's a program for d/l I believe. No other equipment necessary.

Oh, and as a side note: Personally, I wouldn't be suprised if I found a little plaque on the side of the Wraith that read: "Fischer-Price My First Tank!" Seriously. That thing looks so chunky and curvy, akin to a child's playset.

lol nice. And that goes for all of you in the future: "The use of proper spelling and grammar can provide for you a means of communication with the rest of normal society"
well, now that we've cleared that up a cool thing to do would be to use the hog as a large projectile, I can just see blowing ghosts and hogs across the gap smashing into elites and grunts =)

On another note, hunters can in fact be killed by being run over in the hog (though it takes a little pushing), though I've yet to try the same thing with a scorpian tank and a ghost I'm sure those'll work as well...more news later.
