Ive just upgraded my gfx card from the GF4-4200ti, to a Radeon9800 Pro(Ultimate) and im not impressed. Anybody else have similar probs ? - This card should be so much better !! - Shurley ??
Ok, ive upped the settings a little bit in the 2nd time demo, but it should be better.. right ?

I dunno man, I have the same card and i have no problems with it. I run Doom 3 and Farcry at ultra quality flawlessly... How much RAM do you have though? That may be it, ive got 1024MB right now and like i said its flawless.

I'm certifiable.

This really should be in the Maw, but I do have a suggestion; try turning off Specular effects. That's a major drag on system resources, unfortunately. If you turn them off metal things won't be as shiny and there's a few other things that won't look quite as pretty, but you should see a big jump in frame rate.

how much does a Radeon 9800 pro cost? i need a good card... im stuck with my intel graphics card that came with my dell dimension 2300... (i thought my PC was gonna explode while trying to play the Halo PC demo)
