So, I bought Halo:CE a few weeks ago, and I thought that the campaign was very good, as I had also played through it a couple years ago. I have also played through the Halo 2 campaign once, and I thought that one was excellent as well (both a lot better than Halo 3 in my opinion), and maybe even better than the first one. It had a very good story, and I especially liked playing from the Arbiter's point of view and seeing the Covenant civil war unfold. I have seen it on Amazon for $20, and used ones even cheaper, so is the campaign worth $20?

My Youtube - Halo 2 Online Co-op
BUNGIE AND MICROSOFT FAILS HALO 2 VISTA.

Everytime someone buys a copy of Halo 2 Vista, a puppy dies.

You mean Halo 2 Vista right? because that's still online.

Ahhh! Guess what? The other day I ordered Halo CE & Halo 2 off ebay. Halo 2 came today and I was allowed to play it for half an hour (It sucks, I know but It's a present) and it was awesome. So hells yeah, BUY IT NOW! :)

No, I mean for the Xbox. My computer sucks and is really slow, it wouldn't even be worth it to get it for PC.

I suppose so. It's pretty cheap, and the campaign was probably the best campaign in the entire series (in my opinion).

So I say go for it =)

Halo 2 is one of the best halo games Bungie has ever made!

halo 2 still the best game in the series. long live halo 2.

Dam, I miss the old days playing halo 2 with my old brothers in arms. Thank you my old friends for giving me this account, I shall continue our legacy.

Halo 2's campaign was much better and more richly done then compared to halo 3's, compared to reach I still haven't come to a decision on that one. Since your thinking of buying the game for the campaign, then Yes it is worth buying.

If you want to play online with friends, etc, then use xlink kai or xbox connect to play online in halo 2 for the xbox. Both programs are free to use and legal to use.

Very worth buying. Even if it doesn't have online play or you can't get on XBC/Xlink Kai. Just as a game to play single player then when your friends come over, you play it. That's how I played it.

Yeah, I tried xbox connect, but my pc couldn't read my xbox. I'm guessing that my pc isn't hooked up to my xbox or something like that, so I'll probably try it again sometime.

Thanks everybody for responding and being helpful; this forum is much more welcoming than the Reach one, which is pretty much ridiculous because of all the flaming, stupid threads repeated over and over, etc.

I was probably going to get this game anyways, but since everyone who has responded agrees it's a great game, I'm definitely going to buy it now, despite online play being taken off the servers.
