YOU'RE MISSING THE POINT! Keep asking for H2PC until you're blue in the face

Why? So Bungie can ask Gearbox to port it and both companies will screw it up again? So Bungie can ignore the PC users' cries for a complete game, instead trying to maintain "the best possible Xbox Live experience", probably for Halo 3?

If Bungie ported Halo 2 to PC, it'd be the same story as the original Halo.

HPC is dying. Mores the pity.

I think our pleas for any updates were answered a long time ago...with Custom Edition. it was an incomplete answer, dodging dial-up users and Mac plaers with equal ease. But if you want new maps, thats the place to go.

I don't see any update for halo PC coming. Unless halo PC becomes a security risk, i see no reason why M$ would bother with it anymore. While i applaud your enthusiasm, I think your energy is misplaced.

When Mr B said money wasn't an issue he was elluding to the fact that sales for halo PC have continued to be strong for the entire 2 years its been out.

As for figures...look them up yourself. i've posted three links on this forum showing halo PC was in the top 20 best selling games up to the month of Augest of this year. Sadly, it didn't think it made it for September.

Bungie makes Xbox games now. They aren't a computer game company anymore. But, write your letters. Prove me wrong. I'll even write one myself. But I don't hold much future for Bungie making a comeback as a computer game manufacturer. they've been swalloed by the M$ beast. And we all not what happens after the inital chewing process is over:

digestion...and finally excretion.

I think"any" acknowledgement towards Halo pc will be a miracle. Any support from the past for Halo pc was just from the fear of M$, Bungie, and Gearbox, looking bad in the gaming community. It is becoming quite obvious that "they" plan on doing nothing else for the pc, or any kind of support for Halo 1.

Sadly, Halo pc sell's might still be in the top 20 if there was some kind support from one of the three. Maybe it's from all the negative feedback form the on-line support.

This game still has potential profits just for it's online play. I'm about ready to buy another cd because my current one is in such bad shape. But maybe I will look at another game that actually is supported.

Normally when a company sells a product they stand by it, support it, respond to any problems with it, and for the most part, "give a crap" about customer experience's with the product.

But again, I guess I am just wasting my time even discussing it.

Anyways, happy laggin, happy warpin, and say hello to the tker's.

I stand by my question. WHERE ARE THE FACTS and FIGURES? You claim that you've seen figures for HPC sales. Please don't expect ME to back up YOUR argument, it doesn't work that way.

Incidentally, top20, or top10 does not necessarily indicate profitability whatsoever. I can think of countless projects that ended up opening at number 1, or remaining in the top x but made NO MONEY.

So?

I think we can rest assured that they did in fact make plenty of money.

Any updates to Halo 1 would be a miracle. They can't even issue a statement about Halo 1, let alone considering the 1.10 idea you have introduced. I would settle for them to just re-boot their server's, cause the warping and connection error's are rearing their ugly heads once again. (On Bungie server's.)

Wishfull thinking seems to be a common part every day life on this forum.

They are too focused on Halo 2 X-Box, and not wanting to make the same mistakes they made on Halo 1. (Which seems they are doing again.)

But it does not hurt to talk about new idea's. We just need to understand that we are all in the same boat whether we realized it or not.

I've come to understand that this forum is purely for us to pool our complaints together and submit them via e-mail. So far I have got no response, (big surprise,) but if enough of us do it we might get somewhere.

Overall profits have pressured Bungie to do something about Halo 2 X-box on hack's. Profits are not on our side, so we need a ton of e-mails. Or even letters. On one of the threads on the maw somebody had a great idea, go to your local liquor store, pick up a bacardi box and mail your letter in that. It might be negative attention but, at least we might get their attention.

This is funny, now PC is suffering what CE is! People are playing too much Battlefield 2 to care about Halo Combat Evolved. People are playing too much Halo 2 to care about Combat Evolved. Face it. Other games/Consoles have finally won. *Cries*

You are absolutely right. I'm considering battlefield 2, do you recommend it? I have an excellent pc and smokin fast connection but can't benefit from it by playing Halo online.

I only have the demo, which totally rocks-It requires a powerful system for the best gameplay, but anything over a Nvidia 5200 FX will do. I would get it, but I got Battlefield 2 Modern Combat, so no need. (I think I'm being converted to consoles. *Shudders*)
