Forum statistics...just very basic ones. How many people log in every week. How many posts each member makes per week. How many people are on down on the bottom of the page when you are on....frequenters of other types of forums are very familiar with this...yet in the time I've been on Bungie.net (one year as of 12/31 including my old account)....there hasn't been the addition of this feature.

WHY?

Oh, another cool thing would be to see the top 50 or so groups in order of size by using the search engine.

Because those numbers are not relevant to you. We're not adding random stats just so you guys can create artificial numbers and "work the system" to be listed. And don't say you won't because you will, with post counts, group membership, it doesn't matter what it is.

I think we want a search feature more over all those things.

I agree, the search feature will be very useful.

I think an "online" and "offline" indicator might be useful, but the search feature is still at the top in my mind.

I also think a search feature would be a good idea.

If I remember correctly bungie said they're working on a search feature.
Don't know about the online offline feature, but I'm sure if it's something that's useful
that wouldn't lead to abuse they'll probably consider it.

I mean why wouldn't they right?

Im not really bothered a bout a search feature. Just bookmark a page if you want to come back. But then it may be helpful for when people are asking questions. Instead of them starting a new thread they can search and see if it has been discussed before.

We love your RSS feed. We should know by now that the search is coming soon.

Plus you can use google's advanced search feature to find many threads on bnet. The feature I would like most would be the online offline indicator. I imagine that would be easier than a search. I actually use that feature on the RvB forums. I don't spend much time on those forums because everybody just posts to get Karma points. Hopefully we will never get Karma points here.

Wow, First, Your title. What gives you the right to speak for all of us? I personally DO NOT want statistics, and love the RSS feed. Yes, many want search over that, but RSS was much easier and faster so it was done sooner.

But you just clumped a whole ton of people into something they dont want to be in. I doubt there is more than 5 others who take your stance. FYI.

Its cool if you had said 'I' but saying 'We' just is not cool.
