If you didn't check out the webcams on Sunday (8/15) circa 3:30 MST, then you missed what was apparently a professional video recording in progress. I saw cameras, sound techs, and some bright lights (I know what you're thinking and no, I was, in fact, sober). What do you think this could be for?

They want the 'Halo.' But I tell them: 'No! No Halo! For you, only the 'Frenzy'! The 'Frenzy' and maybe some 'Munch'

Maybe for the documentry for the Limited Edition.

I was thinking that, but I also thought that something of that nature should have already been completed.

There has been a lot of talk about a big marketing campaign with all
this wasp-like creature talk going on. Maybe it has something to do
with that.

Maybe so maybe so. They are very busy wasp-like creatures over there so it could be any number of marketing ploys.

Not to mention the big mystery behind www.ilovebees.com. I'm almost certain that anyone reading this thread knows what i'm talking about. the link to the website was found in the final second of the halo 2 cinematic trailer when the words shifted for just a second from xbox.com to ilovebees.com, and back to xbox

I'm certifiable.

You missed the significance of the "wasp-like creature" references in the thread, didn't you? :) Since reference to, uh, the site about "honey-generating insects" in any forum other than New Mombasa is cause for thread-lockage now. Crowd control, unfortunately. :(

Still, the video crew could be doing scenes to fill in gaps they noticed in editing. Or they could be shooting another chunk entirely. Or it could be filming for internal use. Or eventual press use. Or any number of things.

We'll just have to wait for more info. There's just not enough data to support any conclusion.

-- Steve knows that waiting is hard, but when it's all you can do you gotta find a way to cope with it.

All very true. Perhaps someone with knowledge of the on goings will drop by and shed a little light on the busy wasp-like creatures today. I just find it unusual that it was conducted on a Sunday when I expected everyone would be out of the office. (If one can really call a video game development studio an office).

We’ve watched while the stars burned
Out, and creation played in reverse.
The Universe freezing in half-light.
Once I thought to escape.
To end a master, step out of the
Path of collapse. Escape would make us God.
Yet I cannot help but remember one enigma,
A hybrid, elusive destroyer.
This is the one mystery I have not solved.
The only element unaccounted for.

Well, seeing as how the game is nearing completion I would have to seriously doubt that all of the Bungie employees would be out of the office. It's the final stretch, after all.

It (the studio) looked mostly vacant except for the filming crew and a few interviewees.
