Feel free to PM me with Morrowind questions. =) I've been playing the game for about for a long time now and I know it in and out. Also, the Elder Scrolls forums might be of help.

Well, I thought about telling you about the best glitch that my friend showed me to get your stats into skill levels into the thousands, but thats cheap and he made me swear that i never tell anyone. The last thing all say about that is that he could kick your character's ass...

Anyway, ill help you try to get farther.
1. You may want to make a new character. If you have a character with mixed stats, or no good weapon profiency, make a new one.
2.Create a custom class. ALWAYS make a class to suit your specific needs. And make sure you have at least one weapon type in your major skills class. If you put agility in major or minor skills you can level up while running or swimming. Adding a security skill makes it easier to pick locks and steal.
3. The game does start out slow! 9/10 times you'll miss the target at the begining. Stay close the town of sedya neen and fight mubcrabs. You'll get better at hitting targets eventually.
4.IT'S ONLY STEALING IF YOU GET CAUGHT!! case in point; if no one is looking at you, steal anything and everything of value and sell it later. It helps out alot. A good place to do this is the room at the begining where you get the dagger in the table.
5. If you do get a price on your head(especially a big one) a good trick is to drop all your weapons, clothes, stolen goods, EVERYTHING, and go turn yourself into a guard. Do a little jail time and and when you get out, go back to the spot where you dropped everything and pick it up again. This way you don't lose any items.
6. Get trained. Steal stuff, get money, and pay a person to raise your skills. It's alot quicker than doing it yourself. Also, if you raise any of your major or minor skills enough you will level up.
7.Carry useful equpment. Usually you should carry at least one divine intervention or almsivi intervention scroll with you. Using these will teleport you back to the nearest fort or temple. Its great if your about to die or if your carrying too much. Carry potions of cure common diseases and cure blight disease and others as well.

Well thats all that i can think at the top of my head. But if you need some more specific help you can ask and ill help. Maybe...

bah

Mudcrab sucks. Takes too long to get to him. Go to Caldera. Find Creeper. He has half the money, but will still pay full price.

Want to know the fastest way to level up? Make alchemy one of your skills. Then, goto Caldera and steal the alchemy set in the tower. Use that to make potions. Buy the ingrediants, make the potion, sell the results. You'll not only make money doing this, but you'll increase your skill, level up quicky, and have a useful skill for the rest of the game. You can easily make yourself level 100 in alchemy in a few hours time.

Advanced players would never do this (leveling up only one skill is bad for maxing stats later) but to get to know the game, I'd do that.

Another good use for creeper is to: Go up to the top level of the house and grab 3 pieces of orc armor in the creats and go sell it to creeper for 5000 gold. (Make sure you drop your gold in one of the boxes next to creeper.) Now you'll have 5K in your pocket, wait 24 hours (Just click the button that does it) and sell creeper 5k for 5k. Do this over and over and you'll get tons of cash, but you'll have to kill him if you want your money. 250 days is roughly a million I do believe.

Easy loot for characters level 15+, DEADRIC SHRINES! Lots of jewels, weapons, and you get to fight Demora lords for awesome weapons.

And getting over level 100, that advice will cost you if you don't know it. =D

Do not worry about your difficulties in Mathematics. I can assure you mine are still greater.

Morrowind is such a great game. When it came out a couple years back I had it for the computer and didn't get to beat the game because someone deleted my save. But i have just started it up again on the GOTY edition for xbox and I just can't seem to get back into it.

PS: Does anyone know the order you can join the Guilds so you can be in almost all of them. What I mean is in some Guilds you have to kill a person from another guild so then you can't be in that guild. Because I for sure want to be in the Morog tong, Thieves, and Fighters.

I use Imperial, The Tower for the sign, and a custom warrior class. I like the game, but it seems to glich up for me so often that it really ruins most of it.
