hmmm maybe you upgraded you drivers so now the message does not appear? Anyways nonetheless you can still use safemode. Simply, you'll have to open up Halo from now on using a Desktop icon. Right-click the Halo icon and go to 'Properties'. Under where 'Target' is go to the end of the text, put a space and type: -safemode. This way by clicking the icon Halo will always open up in safemode. This is what your target line should look like:
"C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Halo\halo.exe" -safemode
hope that helps :)
Oh woops, sorry I reread your post and now I see you want safe mode OFF. Well when you start Halo and it skips the continue anyway, Halo should not automaticaly go to safemode unless you have -safemode in the target line. So is that the problem, or for some reason does Halo open right into safemode?
