OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. Win XP Pro= Service Pack two... Did you donwload service pack 2? That would be the source of any problems you are having. Prepare to spend a while getting Halo working. Im not worried about my comp getting hacked sooo.....

I doubt you can play this game. Cuz what you said in your first post you stated that you only had 256 Mb of RAM, I'm not sure if that's even enough to run the gamem cuz my old computer had 256 RAM, and it couldnt run it, and it was pentium 4 also.

Here's my system specs:
Processor: AMD Athlon XP 3000+
160GB Hard Drive
And I got NVIDIA GeForce 4 MX Graphics

So if you comp can compare to mine then you can definetly run the game.

P.S-I have an eMachines T3092 desktop

Good luck playing the game

i have an idea. u could try updateing or rolling abck to a previous drivers OR u could simple commit sucide . that way every problem would b solved including ones which dont have any thing to do with halo.*pats self on back*
