a problem occured initializing direct3d. hardware acceleration maybe disabled, please run DXDIAG


is my problem and i read in another post to look for the 256mb gfx card fix..but i REALLY dont feel like looking through 256 pages of posts and since i cant seem to find a search option i was wondering if anyone could help...i recently re-purchased halo pc and installed blah blah blah and it wont work.

3.2 p4, gig of ram, 9800 pro 256mb gfx card. acceleration is on etc..i dont know what to do ? :< you can im me if you like at Csquar3ed on AIM (probably be faster then posting) but feel free to post if you like :D

First, do you have the latest version of DirectX? Second, do you have the latest version of your video drivers? Third, do you have the 256 MB Video Card Fix? That has to be it!

I JUUSSSTTTT had that problem right now, and I fixed it....with an update!

It is the video card fix. Just do the update and you will be as good as gold. I had the same problem for a week. We need more people playing CE.
