So I was just wondering, does anyone use Xbox connect to play Halo: CE? I would like to play :)

Not really. I use Halo PC, along with most people.

I would play it more but the 360 controller has sliding issues...

As to XBC, I don't think newer versions of the older 360 (not the slims but newer made "older models") can't be recognized by XBC. 'Tis a sad day.

So that's why my XBC doesn't work. :(

I think you have to change the alternate MAC address on your 360 to one that is recognized by XBC. Check the XBC forums for details.

You didn't have to adjust anything?

How do you do that? I looked all over those dead forums many times, but couldn't find anything that helped.

I will SURELY be trying this within the next week (school is DESTROYING me right now) and will post the results!

If this works, I'm seriously going to think about reviving Halo 1 on XBC. Thanks and I'll let you know how it goes :D

RIP Halo 2: November 9, 2004-May 10, 2010
I was the 2nd to last person to get kicked off Halo 2, see the thread Here

I've been wanting to set up XBC again, but I've never gotten around to it. But yeah, Halo PC is just as amazing to play.

I tried reinstalling but that didn't help. Any suggestions???

Well I'm here to tell everyone that I got it working without changing the MAC address. You just need to make sure you have the newest version of WinPcap :D

Just played a bunch of Halo 2 games tonight lol, SO MUCH MORE FUN THAN REACH!
