Anyone else thinking Merle might actually be good?I thought of that too. Like I said in this thread, Michael Rooker while still seen and still tweets on about being on set before filming ended on November 20th, and usually when a character dies, their actor leaves the set seeing how they spend weeks making an episodes. Part of me believes that Merle would be an interesting character to have in Rick's group. Daryl's actor even said Merle is a "drunk uncle" in a interview, that might be true to non-Woodbury residents but his mentality seems to fit in with Governor's men, he just expresses it with more excitement. I have a feeling he's going to rejoin, by this rate I can't see Merle siding with the governor for the whole season. Mhm. My theory is that Merle formulated a plan to get Rick to come to Woodbury and stop the Governor and then join Rick's group. He's been looking for Daryl for a long time, and when he saw Glen he thought he could capture them for Rick and Daryl to come after him. He had to hurt Glen because he had to show the Governor he was on his side, and he probably wouldn't hurt Maggie because he doesn't know her. And when the Governor asked where Merle's loyalties lied, it was a dead giveaway for me. That's just my theory.
