Anyone who's read the comics has known about the barn. You kids aren't Nostradamus.

I never read the comics. Still called it.

Okay, let me rephrase that. Anyone who's read the comics, used Google, or read the plot on Wikipedia knows about the barn. Even beyond that, visual cues given throughout this episode all but smacked you in the face and said, 'zombies in the barn', so again, you kids aren't exactly awesome at predicting what happens.

Daryl goes looking for Sophie. Snake spooks his horse. He falls off his horse, gets an arrow stuck in his side. He starts hallucinating about his brother. He goes back to the farm, gets shot by Andrea who thinks he's a walker. After dinner, Glenn goes to the barn so that he and farmer's daughter can have sexy time. He discovers that the barn is filled with zombies. Rick and Shane get into an argument over whether or not to continue looking for Sophie, or leave. Lori is pregnant. Most likely it is Shane's baby.

Sir Arch-Duke Ferdinand II Jr. Sr. III Phd.

Andrea is now my least favorite character, and Daryl, who has always been my favorite, is now even more awesome. Not only did he kill two walkers while severely wounded but he even survived getting shot in the head by that moronic -blam!- after clambering his way through the forest.

Seriously why did Andrea even pull the trigger? She had so many reasons not to.

Trying to prove herself and show that she is useful.

The issue though is that if you can not clearly see your damn target then don't shoot. Seriously, the sun was glaring all in the scope and she still took the shot; not to mention the group stopped right infront for the walker as if something important was going on.

That was the dumbest move she has done and shouldn't be allowed to have a gun after that.

If you're reading this, you need to stop stalking me. If you can't stop stalking me, you might as well go here.

Was anyone else extremely put off by the joke Dale made about Andrea shooting Daryl?

I mean, there's really no way to know how he behaved toward the rest of the group before Rick arrived, as he had his brother's (presumably) -blam!- demeanor to feed off of, but from what we've seen, he's the most level-headed and useful member of the group.

Just joking about what had happened made the both of them sound like ungrateful pricks. I think I read on The Walking Dead Wiki that, in the comics, Dale is trying (or does) get Andrea in the sack, but still, that was low. Even going on the notion that Daryl might have behaved more like Merle prior to Rick's arrival, the first time we see him, he's hunting for the rest of the damn group.

He's beyond capable of surviving the post-apocalyptic world on his own, these people left his brother for dead, and he still sticks around and helps them get by, and they joke about shooting him?

Screw Andrea's feelings, that's just ungrateful.

And regarding Andrea: what an idiot. Not only is she told by almost every other member of the group not to take the shot, but she does so without a clear view of her target, and with the other members running out toward her target. What if it had been a walker, and one of the guys that ran out stepped up to bash its head in? She could have blown his head off.

Anyway, going off of my angry reaction, I'd say it was the best episode of the season so far, although that doesn't say much. They really need to resolve the whole Sophia storyline before they start losing viewers.

With the occupants of Hershel's barn finally comings into play, I see Sophia's disappearance becoming a damn forgotten MacGuffin.

She did it to prove that she could be a protector of the group. She actually become a bad ass sniper of the group when they make it to a settlement further in the series.

This is something i have been on since she vanished.

The entire plot now is revolving around looking for her instead of them actually trying to stick it out. Realistically i would hope that anybody would have stopped looking for that kid after 3 days tops.

3 people have ultimately payed some price for this little girl, they really need to stop looking for her before everybody actually suffers.

Its about setting a bar for morality and the kind of leader he is. Do they just cast their morality aside and not even bother for the child or do they retain the only bit of humanity they can.

Not much, most likely things that will make it easier for characters to stay, really not much has changed yet. Im just wanting to see how they introduce Michonne.
