Why did he risk the chance of someone getting infected by opening that barn up when he could of just left? Sure it was dramatic, but come on...

I don't think Shane was in his proper state of mind when he opened the barn.

I Love Lamp. And Ender's Game. Don't tell Lamp.

That was just depressing.

True, I didn't think about his state of mind at the time.

In a time long past, the armies of the dark came again to the lands of men. Their leaders became known as the fallen lords, and their terrible sorcery was without equal in the west.
In 30 years they reduced the civilized nations into carrion and ash. Until the free city of Madrigal alone defined them. An army gathered there, and a desperate battle was joined against the fallen
Heros were born in the fire and bloodshed of the wars which followed and their names and deeds will never be forgotten

I would be mad at the old guy who owns the farm. If they were looking for a girl and he found a zombified girl recently, that would of been good info.

Shane hasn't been sane(lol rhyme) since the apocalypse hit.

Well, now we have to wait until February to see more episodes. =(

Wow. What an incredible sequence that was. I thought there was going to be like, a super zombie or something in the end (or maybe Otis, somehow). But Sophie! WOW.

Can't say I'm shocked. I kind thought that would be the case once Herschel said they capture walkers. I just never thought they'd zombify a little girl. Really sad.

Thankful they resolved it though. It would've been brutal if I had to wait until February to find out.

Well, it's official, Shane has finally cracked.

Ending was probably one of the best for any tv show's episode endings. During the whole barn thing they were all like "Man up you -blam!-, these mofos are gone", and when Sophia came out they realized how tough it was.

I thought the same thing before Sophia came out, I thought all that grunting was like a super zombie. I could imagine the creators of the show to stop the episode when they open the barn and you hear all the grunting.

Did Dale die? I didn't get to see the episode.

Dale is fine, Sophia is dead, Shane is insane, Herschel is angry, and Glenn referenced Portal.

No, but Sophia is a zombie and Rick is forced to kill her. Shane pretty much goes off the deep end. I think Rick and Shane are at an impasse in their relationship.

Shane is going down a moral path that Rick cannot, and does not, want to follow. When episodes resume in February, I suspect that they will confront one another and serious words will be exchanged.

Yes.

This really sucks, I was hoping that they would find Sophie alive and well but I guess I should have seen it coming as this is a zombie show and people you don't see in forever usually turn into zombies.

Did the end remind anyone else of the end of Red Dead where Marston gets out of the barn?

My God... you're right! Even though you're a brony, you definitely have a point.

Falling Skies will be back on in the summer, and Leverage started today, but I wont be able to watch that for another 90 minutes :(
