HAHA! I KNEW it would end up with zombies attacking the farm! Called that!
It will be interesting to see where things go form here. I think some characters will die in the finale (obviously) but I'm not sure who..I'd bet Hershel and maybe one or two more. T-Dog just because he's done crap this season.
I think the "steam" you're referring to is either dew, or it's the zombie virus. The Zombie Survival Guide states that the best way to hide from the zombies is to go deep underground and wait 20-or-so years because it's said that the virus would be air-born.
AmX, I don't think hiding on an island would work. Dawn of the Dead is a perfect example of what would happen.Lol you did call it. If I remember correctly I remember you saying the the lone walker in the fields was predicting for what's to come. Ever since you said that, I knew you were right.
I remember that too. I told all my friends who watch the show how somebody, aka Duardo, thought the lone zombies significance was that the farm would soon be overrun, probably in the season finale. At the end of the episode I was like "OMFG IT'S HAPPENING!!" Good call.
Unfortunately, the death of Shane was spoiled to me and all my other friends from 2 other friends of ours. For some reason I made myself believe that he would die in the finale, so I didn't think Rick was going to kill him. All of a sudden I saw Rick reaching back behind him and I was like "...wtf is he, OMGGGGG!!!" and Shane was dead. That whole scene actually made me forget that Shane was going to die before the season was over, so it still came as a shock to me and my jaw dropped.
I think predicting that the farm was going to be overrun by walkers is a pretty obvious assumption in a TV show about zombies, especially since every other one of their camps ended that way (the CDC, the campground, the building in Atlanta, etc)
Also, the music at the end of this episode was so kickass, when Rick and Carl are standing over Shane's body.
And about the whole zombie-when-not bitten thing...how does that happen? So it's not a viral thing? I don't think the CDC video from season 1 explained this, otherwise it wouldn't be a mystery/surprise in this season.
