Yeah. That's right. I don't have a 50 in H3. I never got Onyx in Reach. If a game sucks too much, I won't even bother trying for such trivial "accolades". Besides, I've done way more things that take far more skill and talent than anything that can be done in a video game.

Back in the day, player counts were about 10k mid-day. And there were Bungie servers that rotated maps for a specific gametype (i.e. A CTF server, a slayer server, ect). I recall there being as many as 4 servers of each major gametype. These were entirely un-adminned, though, and were frequently visited by TKers such as ME=KING.

50 in H2/H3? Great, but you still fail at this.

As of today, though, the peak is 500 for Halo PC, 1200 for CE 1.0, and 6-700 for Halo Trial.

There are lots of TKers though, mainly in Halo CE 1.00 with latin americans running around tking people with the AR.

The bungie.net community is the halo PC community that is renowned for being unbelieveably sucky.

There were 8 CTF servers and 8 Team Slayer servers in Redmond, Washington, and the same thing somewhere in the EU for a total of 32 official Bungie servers.

There was absolutely no warning to the community from Bungie that these servers were going to be shut down. Someone from Bungie on these message boards told us that a "surprise" was coming. That surprise turned out to be shutting down the HPC servers and replacing some as H2v servers.

Overnight the HPC servers were just gone. They were hardly perfect, but it was a real shame the way it was handled.

The Bungie servers were terrible anyway. I personally didn't see it as any real loss.

It was a place where excellent players could find decent games and not get randomly banned for "hacking" by noobs with RCON.

Sounds like you never played on the Bungie servers actually.
