Take it back.

Halo 3 has possibly stood the test of XBL time. Its still popular after 3 years of being on the 360 and here's the list of games it beat over the years

COD 4
COD:WaW
Reach(Sigh)
MW2
MoH
BFBC2

And others as well, people still like H3. Most of them more than Reach(Here.) And probably wont be done until MS shuts down the Service for this Xbox. So what do you guys think?

Discuss.

Well I guess it may have topped some of those games in like a single 2 week period ... but it hasn't been top of the pack for a LOOOOOONG time.

In fact it has not been above reach since its release ... and now even reach is no longer #1 (but H3 still below reach so no win here).

Its a good game, but then there are many good games out there.
and yes its still popular, but not the most popular.

How did Halo 3 Beat Reach again? That is first week..

Why do so many ppl think Reach hasn't surpassed halo 3 in terms of both popularity and $$? .. It has both. The Numbers say it all. Just because you guys want H3 to be the best doesn't make it so.

How did it beat MW2? More people play MW2 than REACH at the moment so how the hell did it beat it? And people still play all the CODs....I still play Halo 3 everyday too.

If you close your eyes really really hard you can almost imagine. You can go back to the first week of MW2 launch - the time when reach did not exists (so didnt win over halo 3) ... and MW2 didn't kick H3's but until at least week 3.
(but we dont mention the those things here).

The first day there were 900k players ON, then a few weeks later I remember it reached 1,000,000 ONLINE players.

Think you are both saying the same thing ... just Cskin forgot the 'sarcasm' quotes ;)

Neither H3 or reach are #1 contenders - and I think reach ironically helped push H3 further down the charts.
Cleanskin was pushing that some people still prefer to live in the past ... sometimes its better to leave them there.
