343 Industries' first project needs to be an XBL remake of Halo 2. Think about it, an HD-remastered (but otherwise identical) remake of Halo 2 for the Arcade with all the original online features intact! As an Arcade game it would technically be an Xbox 360 game so Live features would be obvious. Besides, the already have Halo 2 running in HD for the PC so porting couldn't be too tough.

Would you pay 10 or 15 bucks to play Halo 2 online again (in HD!)? I sure as heck would I miss it.

If you vote please post something I want to hear what other people think of this.

Yes! The only problem is I'd have a hard time choosing between Halo 2 and Reach.

I agree, I would have a hard time choosing whether to play Halo 2 or Reach.

Your 'beliefs' mean less than dick to me.

Do CE first. And I wouldn't pay the full game price either.

My Youtube - Halo 2 Online Co-op
BUNGIE AND MICROSOFT FAILS HALO 2 VISTA.

Everytime someone buys a copy of Halo 2 Vista, a puppy dies.

How about they make it cross-platform with Halo 2 PC?
oh, that's right, you mean people never thought about Halo 2 PC.

Put it at 50,000 MS Points AND multiplayer only, if you want to. If there would be enough players anyways, I would still buy it at that price.

Pass the controller bro

It's not the same.

PC version of H2 is irrelevant to all H2 matters.

There are four lights!

I would do anything to play waterworks on big team again.. falling stalagtites + unexpected worthog with flag carrier = Epic kill.. Just saying

*sigh*
Yes. Yes I would for the 700th time.

The more noise we make, the more likely it'll happen. Sorry I haven't frequented the Halo 2 forums since about 2006.

50 in H2/H3? Great, but you still fail at this.

It's the same. Oh wait, the graphics are better.

And if you are a hardcore fanboy who has a crappy 2001 PC, you can still play on XBC or Xlink Kai.

I own Halo 2 pc and it's not the oasis of classic halo 2 action these forums make it out to be. There's terrible lag and you're extremely lucky to find a game online that's playable, not to mention every server is Coagulation CTF on a loop.

And XBC won't work with the way my home network is set up

R.I.P. Halo 2

I'd pay a whole lot more than 10 or 15 bucks to have Halo 2 back.

  • 11.04.2010 2:25 PM PDT

Hell yes i would. I would even pay what I paid for the original game ($50). Halo 2 is hands down the best game of the series. Reach fell far short of the bar of expectation for me and a lot of the community.

  • 11.04.2010 2:46 PM PDT

I would easily pay Twenty or Twenty-Five dollars for this.
If not more if the graphics were completely redone.

Halo 3 Beta Tester, Halo Reach Beta Tester, and Proud owner of Halo Reach Legendary Edition

Umm YES??? They should make a online only version and yes I would pay 25 USD

Halo 2 for Life!

? Someone said no?

  • 11.04.2010 7:57 PM PDT

5 People said no but no one gave a reason why not...

  • 11.07.2010 5:43 PM PDT

Um...Nah. They should do CE first, make better graphics but same weapons and levels, online enabled, but like, an actual disc. Not arcade. same with 2.

  • 11.07.2010 6:10 PM PDT

Join the Crimson Flame

Depends on how many people are playing online.
I wouldn't be buying it for the Campaign as I already have Halo 2... unless you got matchmaking supported online co-op campaign.

Direct ports are pointless, have you seen the failure of Halo 2 Vista?
Well, if Halo 2 were released a 3rd time, it must have alot more features to accompany it.

Like Online co-op, theater, new gamemodes etc.
