Ok, so i was in my basement playing halo multiplayer and i was winning and i killed somebody. well right after i killed somebody i got killed by the guardians. which was weird because nobody had that game. So if you have any information that could help me please do.

You killed eachother at the same time. Thats why you were "killed by the gaurdinas"

The guardens is the computers way of saying what the hell just happened as somewone just recently said.

I've had that happen too! Both times it was in Hang 'Em High, one time at Red Base, where I was stuck on the ramp and got shotgunned by players infront and behind me, the other time was just today, when I got shotgunned and hit with a melee I'm pretty sure. Can someone go a little more in-depth about it, I didn't quite understand the explanations.

a player is killed by the guardians if he is about to be hit by a melee attack, but the player about to melee him is killed between the time he hit the melee button and when the melee attack connects. a guardian kill is a no-fault kill, so if anyone had done enough damage to take away a health bar not too long before, then that person will get the kill
