I really don't understand your actions, Bungie. Just because a playlist doesn't quite have the numbers that other playlists have doesn't mean you should just get rid of it. I think it's safe to assume big team battle is getting the boot, which is just asanine. There may be a small group of us that play it, but we play it religously. I am not even interested in the other playlists and now have no reason to play on live.
We have already had the big team argument over ranked vs. unranked, so I am not going there. But please reconsider getting rid of big team. It's fairly hard to find 15 other players to get a big custom game going, and unranked big team with guests is liable to be a miserable experience for people who want a decent, challenging game. To add to that, you are making it slayer intensive. To me, big team's sole purpose is for a large scale objective battle. Instead, it is now going to be rumble pit reminiscent battle full of spawn camping and noob comboing.
I also think it is a safe assumption to say the population problem in big team is due to the rampant cheating. I really believe Bungie is solving the wrong problem here. I am confident the only thing to come out of the playlist change is the alienation of a small, but loyal group of Halo players.
