Recently, Iv'e wanted to play Halo 2 because I have the whole series( excluding Halo Wars) but Halo 2. But I don't know which to get? Is the Xbox one better or worse then the Vista one? Any help?

My Youtube - Halo 2 Online Co-op
BUNGIE AND MICROSOFT FAILS HALO 2 VISTA.

Everytime someone buys a copy of Halo 2 Vista, a puppy dies.

Halo 2 Vista.

While it has the same things as Halo 2 Xbox, they also provide better textures than the Xbox version.

In this PC version, you only lack Bungie's support, meaning no matchmaking, no ranks and no nameplates and no stat tracking.

You do get 360 controller support.
Online for free, Silver and Gold are not restricted on Games for Windows - Live.
You need a good graphics card for this game.

Achievements.

50 in H2/H3? Great, but you still fail at this.

Xbox one has no online, since it was shut down in april. Get the PC port instead if you want h2.

Halo PC is better then both h2s, however.

Halo 3>Reach.

Armor Lock doesn't belong in Halo.

Xbox version is better, it had a dedicated matchmaking system

The Xbox versions is a smoother more true experience. If you plan to play online, I actually prefer the Xbox version on XBC over the PC. The PC version is filled with horrible match types, a ton of people who don't know what's going on and some filthy lag. XBC however seems to be some of the better XBL players from the day, at least those who experienced it. Simply put, I barely see Lockout on PC, I see it all day long on XBC. If you know anything about Halo 2, Lockout should be your second home.

Halo Reach PC über alles!

Depends on what you want.

If you want a small crowd you can get attached to, but a probable no increase in that population. then get H2X, (and download Xlink Kai, becuase that is how you play in this post-shutdown of xbox live. and also works with Halo 1.)

However if you want a small population (but not so small that you can get attached to everyone.) and the capiblity to play H2 without need for external tools. then get H2V.

Either way, H2 is a fun game, and you should enjoy playing either one.

I see lockout all the time on the PC port. Lockout and Coag are the 2 overplayed maps on the PC port.

And for me, XBC lags more then h2v does. There is a difference between lag (bad internet) and slowdown (crappy gpu/intel graphics).

Obviously. But I'm talking about lag, the game itself runs fine on my PC. Either way, I'd rather play on the 360 via XBC. Probably the cheaper option too, depending if you already have a 360 pad for PC. I just find better comp on XBC and more variation. Only problem I have on there is some people don't have the DLC maps, at least on PC that problem never arises.

I think it depends on who you play with. For me the xbox version is way better because I had a group of people I used to play with on a regular basis. If I get a group of my friends to play on vista as well it will probably be just as fun as it was on xbox.

Right now though, the xbox live servers are shut down so really your options for online are vista or xbconnect (free online program for xbox).
