From what i can find, the cirrus logic 5446 is so old, that i can't find anything, except drivers for win 95. If anything requires anything for win 95, it's far too old to play halo pc.

my system is a p3 1ghz, 384mb ram running win 2000pro . i have purchased a geforce 4 mx440 se card from ebay and waiting delivery, will this be sufficient for running the game?

hi all, when trying to load halo on my pc, i get a box up saying accelerator not enabled please check and try again, i am running a cirrus logic 5446 graphics card and was wondering if this would have to be replaced to play the game, any help appreciated, :(

Halo CE or Halo combat evolved?
Sounds like you need an update. Have you got them? Check that.

It doesn't matter what Windows you have, you need any Windows other than MSDOS. Which really isn't a window, but whatever.
1)Update your game.
2)The game requires more RAM.
3)Update your motherboard, audio, and video card.
Edit: Uninstall and reinstall. Your CD also might be damaged.

This concept of fun confuses and infuriates me!

Or a better solution:
Buy a new PC. I reccomend a Alienware if you can afford it.
Or just upgrade to XP, get the best graphics/sound card to date, and buy a new moniter.
And a crapload more memory.

halo, combat evolved, why more memory??? the requirements on the game box states 128mb needed,
