I have both. Got my Xbox for the sole reason of playing Halo. Then I got the PC version in order to play online. I like Xbox controller much better; but many of the PCers do that platform because they like the keyboard better. With a GOOD video card (check the sticky in the Maw to find out what this means), a decent computer and a high-speed connection, you can have an excellent online experience. If you are just doing campaign, stick with Xbox: you aren't missing out on anything.

halo pc owns... anyway u get new maps, guns, vehicles, and brand new maps and guns on halo ce which you can download for free after you buy halo pc...for more info on ce visit the halo pc forums...also u guys werent playing w/ the pc pros, u were playing w/ u-noe-whos...pc pros would own u
Well, I don't know if that last part is true, since I haven't played Xbox Connect; but I highly suspect that the competition on PC online is much tougher than the Xbox fanboys want to give credit for. I know that I get my butt kicked most of the time on PC MP; and that isn't even CE (free download), which I have heard is a significantly more competitive crowd.

I wouldnt get it because first the cheap bastards always go for banshee and try and kill you second they have no skill I downloaded the pc demo and took out a banshee and a guy in a warthog with out dying so basically xbox pros would own PC pros...
You probably killed me ~grin~ I've done a lot of dying in Banshees. And a pro I am not (probably much closer to something that rhymes with "tube.")
...but for online play just download xbox connect its free to play online with ur halo
Hey, what's this "free" stuff? I thought you had to sign up for Xbox Live (or "Connect" or whatever) for $17/month. If you know how someone with a high-speed line can connect up with a well populated forum of online Xbox gamers for free, please let me know. Thanks!
