Pizza is all you need for this situation, but here's me from the thread "banning code thing":
1)Right click the Halo icon, and click "Properties." Look for target and put a space and type -console after the quotation marks.
2)Open up Halo and press your hypen key. (~ `) Your console should've opened up.
3)Do sv_players. A list of players and their numbers will show up. sv_ban <Their number here> or sv_kick to kick them. You can also type their name instead of their numbers. If there's a space, do sv_ban "12 34" and if there isn't sv_ban 1234. Same with kicking, sv_kick "12 34" or sv_kick 1234. So if there are spaces, put quotes around their names. Putting quotes around names that don't have spaces won't affect the kick/ban. Only ban if the player did something offensive/rule breaking though!

except, he's asking about a DS, which is much easier to kick. from a DS, all you can see is the console, and that is, infact, all you can use to interface with the server. just type sv_players into the console, and you will see all the players in your server. next to each player's name, there is a number, starting from eaither 1 or 0; i forget which. remember the number of the offending player.
then type SV_kick # (obviously replacing # with the number of the offending player)
