Im possibly considering coming back to Halo 3 due to the fact that Halo Reach doesn't seem to do it for me. How many people still play?

Your 'beliefs' mean less than dick to me.

I'd had some trouble and it's been laggy but I chalk that up to my horrific dorm room internet.

Definitely come back to us. :)

Im with you man. I looked on Halo 3 a week after a halo reach came out and the population went up huge. It went from 40,000 a week before halo reach coming out, and it sored to a population of 850,000 people. It hasn't been that high for 2 years. When Halo 3 first came out it had 1.5 million. I say people are coming back. The current population is around 500-600k. I still play. I play the campaign a lot still.

I don't have to kill you quickly, you know

Enough people still play. finding games takes the same amount of time, maybe less because less usage, maybe because I moved and have a stronger internet connection. Either way coming back is a good choice

I give most people one year from the release date of reach before the H3 population is almost back to what it was. Reach gets boring after about 3 or four matches.........

I still play. Reach sucks. It takes a little longer to find a match. It can take up to a few minutes in big playlists like big team battle, and if it's late at night, but it's generally pretty quick. Definitely worth the wait.

It has been kind of laggy since Reach came out. I find plasma grenades not sticking, plasma pistol overcharges not tracing, even enemies surviving direct hits from scorpions. But it's not extremely common and it's still much better than Reach.

Those numbers were inaccurate. It said team slayer had a pop of over 100k the other day but it varies between 1-4k. Still plenty of people, though. :)
