My laptop is owned by my school and has many security traps all over it, but I was still able to transfer the Halo trial to it using a pen drive. The text in multiplayer doesn't appear, however, and the security doesn't allow my to install it using msxmlenu, which is the usual solution. I believe that I could get around this if I could just find the files used for multiplayer text on my home computer (which has the full version of Halo), then copy the files onto the pen drive and paste them into the Halo folder on my laptop. My question is: Could someone tell me if this is possible and if so, which files does the multiplayer text use? Thanks for your trouble!

P.S. I have already contacted Chewy Gumball about this but he didn't specifically know which files were necessary and I was too computer retarded to know what "the registry" is.

It's either lag or hardware problem. Try completyl un-installing Halo, but before you do that you can run this file..I forgot where and what the file was though. It has
a lot of D's in it.

No what I'm saying is that I can't uninstall the Halo trial or reinstall it (security won't let me), all I can do is copy and paste things into the computer. This is why msxmlenu doesn't work, it requires installation in order to work. I'm trying to find the files that are used for the multiplayer text from my home computer which has full-version Halo so I can paste them into my Halo trial folder on my laptop.

Ok the files are in the content folder. Which is inside the halo directory. then youll see files like 480 log 1024log etc etc. Those are the files that position the wording. So if you run resotuion at 640x480 then you would need the 480 log. And so forth. This also helps if you run the game a lower resotuions then it says you should. Just open the 480.log file with notpad and change the numbers inside.
