Halo 2 is (by far) the most difficult. Cairo Station was a living nightmare, as were any missions with Drones and Jackal Snipers. Did I mention the Brutes (aka bullet sponges)?

Gravemind was the worst. The whole first chamber was you vs. waves of brutes with almost no cover. If you somehow managed to make it past that, you get to deal with drones, snipers, hunters, energy sword elites, and even more brutes. Pretty much everything that made legendary difficult aside from boss battles.

I'd say that it was a close run between CE and 2 for hardest, followed by Reach then 3. 3's was the easiest, what with those brutes being retarded.

Halo 2>Halo CE>>>Halo Reach>>>>>>>Halo 3/ODST. Campaign wise.

I'm sorry, but I do not agree with you. Halo 2 was a little easier than C.E. but Halo 3 was harder than ODST and Reach was harder than Halo 3.
Halo 2 harder than CE? Not likely. Jackal snipers, berserker brutes, drone swarms, superdamage by every plasma round, it was ridiculous.

Rechargable health/sheilds with no medkits, vehicles that can take infini-damage (save ghost/wraith weakspots), dual weilding...
I'm gonna have to say CE was harder than 2.

I'm gonna have to say CE was harder than 2.
Shield strength was much lower in Halo 2, and enemy damage was increased substantially. Infinite vehicle damage was countered by the sheer amount of damage enemies would cause with every shot. Dual-wielding only prevented you from throwing grenades. All the dual-wield weapons were laughably useless, unless you were fighting Brutes with dual-needlers.


@ Whoever had trouble on Gravemind - the easiest thing was to crouch-jump onto the seats above the chamber. Take out the Carbine Brutes and you're in good shape.
