I am a monument to all your sins

Ive read all the novels and they've all stated that Johnson survived the flood because of Boren's Syndrome, but Halopedia and alot of people on the forums say that it was just a cover, and that he was really a S-I. Is this said in one of the comic books? where does this data come from?

Contact Harvest the Recruiter notes he was a part of the Orion project. Orion is the S-1 project.

Bobcast is paid in MILF blind dates.

In The Flood they mention that the original name for the Spartan project is ORION. In Contact Harvest a recruitment officer on Earth notices that Sgt. Johnson's CSV contains ORION, plus other operations he had no clue existed.

EDIT: ^^^ Beat me to it.

huh, I read the book but never noticed that detail. How do we know that he didnt just have Boren's syndrome too, and the floods inability to infect him was unrealated to his augmentation? or is this all just speculation, and theres no real proof that he didnt have Boren's? also, how do we know he wasnt just a drill instructor or something for the S-1's?

there we go, that is a confirmation. But how do we know that it was the augmentation and not the Boren's syndrome that prevented the flood infection?

  • 11.13.2010 2:22 PM PDT

Boren's syndrome was an ONI cover up to hide the ORION project.

  • 11.13.2010 2:29 PM PDT

Wait, what capabilities did the Spartan-I's have?

how do we know this though? he could have had boren's syndrome and been a Spartain I. what source confirmes that it was a cover up?

Don't worry, you're still your mom's favorite Bnet member.

Boren's syndrome is a coverup for orion. Confirmed in the Halo Graphic Novel.

I've not read it myself, but I've heard the Halo Graphic Novel goes into at least some detail on the subject.

Boren's Syndrome is a fictitious human disease used as a cover up ONI created to hide the identity of the Spartan-Is.

Thats sorta true. Master Chief was the last Spartan-II (execpt for the ones on Onyx) but there was still Jonhson, who was a Spartan-I, not a Spartan-II.

This man, this man right here put it so eloquently that I actually cancelled my own 2000+ word long post.

The person who said participating is important, not winning, obviously never won anything.

There are various sources.

1. Contact Harvest lists him as part of Project ORION.

2. Joseph Staten said that his favorite Spartan was Sgt. Johnson, which would obviously make him a Spartan I.

There are more, but I cant remember.

There is no such thing as Borens syndrom, it is a cover for the ORION project or something.

  • 11.14.2010 11:45 AM PDT

He was one of the three hundred ORION project canidates, which is technically SPARTAN Is. The ORION project failed however and some people have very little intelligence and say he is a SPARTAN I...

Sieg Zeon

i used to refuse to believe it until someone at bungie said it and now i have to believe, but one of the reasons i didnt want to was because it made johnson seem like less of a bad ass, the bad assery is no longer a product of him being awesome, now he just gets it from the S1 project
