Does anyone even look at B.net sigs?

The AR must be buffed...... the Forerunners demand it XD

It's funny because;

*ARs a Brute on Heroic at Close range*

*Brutes melees me to death*

"Why he no die?"

*Plasma Pistols a Brute on Heroic within the same range*

*Brutes dies surprisingly fast*


Conclusion:
Plasma Pistol > AR/PR/Repeater/Spiker

60 rounds was what made the Halo: CE AR perfect.

16 bullets to kill, and a skilled player could get up to 2 perfect kills WITHOUT RELOADING.

And also, that Halo: CE AR was perfectly balanced at close ranges with the Shotgun and Pistol. Shotgun had range, but if the user failed to killed the AR-player in time, the AR-player has a better chance of winning, even at close quarters. Pistol. Well, "invisible bloom" helped balance that fella against the AR.

Conclusion Evolved: PR kills shields fast and does health damage better than the PP. Spiker is a beast! AR sucks,

Buffing the AR will get it it's place in the Reach sandbox!

Yes. Currently the AR is too weak, like you said it sounds awsome but feels like firing pop corn. If it's damage is increased, from 18 bullets per kill to 16, it would be more usefull rather than to die most of the time using it. As it is now I always drop it to pick up any other weapon or have it as a secondary I never use.

Winning or losing doesn't really matter much to me. I play for fun, and nothing you can say will change that. Sure, I have a low K/D, sure, I have a low rank in Halo 3, but I really don't care. It's not like it actually means anything. It's a number. And for the record, opinion and fact are two completely different things.

It takes about 12 or so rounds to kill a single grunt in campaign, and even more for a jackal, which is stupid, considering the supposed size of the rounds it fires.

The magasine size increase would be a way to help players who start shooting earlier, but the more skilled option is to increase the individual round's damage, rewarding marksmanship more.

That's a good idea, but I'd rather have it be buffed in damage, rewarding every single hit more, as well as precision :)

YES! It is so annoying in campaign, and the melee sucks in campaign as well thus rendering the AR useless in comparison to all other weapons!

Make it more accurate like in Halo 3. I'm tired of dropping someones shields 2/3 of the way then having to switch to my pistol to finish them off.

It is extremely odd when (campaign here) I fire 10-15 rounds at a single Grunt and it won't go down - these are small, weak, frail aliens being attacked by armour-piercing rounds. Even shooting in the head, it takes more than 5 rounds, and god forbid it's a hero with that damned helmet.

Compared with a grunt (clad in body armour and an environment suit), a jackal wears no armour whatsoever. Plus they look even more frail than the grunts, somehow. How can they withstand even more bullets than the grunts can?

The AR, like all automatic weapons except the NR, has no headshot damage multiplyer. Meaning it's the same where ever it hits!

Same, but thats because of the weakness of the individual rounds. It's actualy more accurate now :D

About the AR i think you are rigth and you oppinon is based on real Data. I think it will be perfect if they ONLY increase the damage per bullet

Yes, I also believe it would be perfect if they ONLY buffed the damage. Everything else would make it either unskilled or OP.

I think the perfect balance is 16. To check it out put damage at 110%. It's the conclusion I've come to after many hours of thinking and playtesting.

Magasine size isn't the problem imo. I think that the individual rounds should deal more damage.

And judging by the poll, so does most of the community that has voted.
